"Best show other than Pearl Jam"

Ok i know this could possibly start a shit storm but I am curious about peoples favorite live act/show that they have ever seen. Personally my favorite band is My Morning Jacket. I think they are brilliant and their live shows are legendary. It seems when I read others responses on their favorite show they have been too they say, "it was the best show besides pearl jam." Now I love Pearl Jam as much as the next but what is it about PJ show that puts it over the edge compared to your other favorite shows?
For me MMJ is the most powerful, energy filled three hours of music that you can find. Just my opinion of course.

best live band, best band period.
I'd go with Radiohead and The Roots.

The place soaking wet from all those were rocked By Michael Franti and SPEARHEAD. Awesome set of shows each one getting better and the walk back to the hotel singing Straight To Hell by the Clash in the middle of the street @ 2am. Then went clubbing at 13 till dawn.
Awesome

They have two full albums. Not a whole lot to choose from.
I have to agree with the above poster. Arcade Fire are the best live band on the planet (even above PJ). I can't think of another band that comes close. I have seen them play smaller clubs. I have seen them play massive festivals. It is always an uplifting, spiritual experience that, for me, represents everything that is beautiful about music. I can't imagine someone seeing Arcade Fire live and not being moved.
There are plenty of other great live acts. Radiohead, NIN, The Mars Volta, Incubus, Green Day, Fleetwood Mac. . .However, none of them are in the same ballpark as Arcade Fire (and PJ).

Rush, The Cure, Pumpkins, Metallica and Alice in Chains all put on blinding shows.
Second I would have Wilco.
John Mayer is a great great live show...before you knock it check him out
Wycleff Jean actually was a great performer as well.
Black Keys always bring down the house.

Allison Crowe for the intense emotion/chills/giggles.
The Tragically Hip for charisma and theatrics.
Weird Al for the Weird Al.
Other than that John Butler Trio is doing amazing shows. A lot of energy and his instrumental piece called Oceans is awesome.
I saw Roger Waters in 2007 and that was great ... too bad I'll never get a chance to see Pink Floyd now that Rick passed away.
I'm pretty psyched about my coming shows : Sigur Ros and The Black Keys. Hope I will have a blast !
I think the visuals they're using keep you pulled in when the music is more atmospheric and isn't so riffy and aggressive. I love what they're playing live from Ghosts, no doubt about it, but I think he's done a great job in creating balance in the show between music and visuals.
