Josh was hammered in Boston & his rambling in between songs took away from the whole flow. It also didn’t help that the mix of guitars sucked for 2/3 of the show.
Portland was a completely different story. With the exception of ‘Feet Don’t Fail Me’ the sound was perfect & the energy was up all night (despite Josh aggravating his knee / leg, he was limping & apologizing towards the end of the night)
I think QOTSA is much better suited for clubs & theaters, the two times I’ve seen them in arenas have been only ok.
One more thought: John Theodore is a F’ing monster; I could watch that guy play drums all day long.
Damn that poster is sick. Will definitely grab one of these. On that note still haven't gotten tickets for tomorrow. Anyone around here have any for sale?

Tickets are still available according to their post that showed off the poster. Also, apparently there are tickets hidden in NYC Subways.
Great show in Boston this past Saturday night. Both bands sounded fantastic, I walked out saying to myself, that's a rock concert! Royal Blood played a solid 10 song set as the opener and they set the tone for the evening, great sound, high energy. The QOTSA came out and it was game on, strong 21 song set, 2 hrs of classic QOTSA! Great blend of new and old, show had a nice flow to it. I know someone on here mentioned they didn't sound great, I couldn't disagree more, I was 15 ft center from the stage in the ga and it was perfect.

Full Portland show from the front. Pretty Josh-centric but still pretty cool. If you watch the last couple songs, he was definitely hobbling and in pain.
If I Had a Tail is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard.
While I liked this song, there were others I liked a lot more on ...Like Clockwork. It wasn't until this tour that this song finally clicked for me. Probably due to them opening their Cal Jam set with it, I just love the swagger of it.

Yeah was at MSG last night and thought it was fine but not blown away. 100% would rather see Queens in a club and wasn't really feeling Royal Blood so much. The poster is rad and glad i picked one up.
