got tickets for the saturday show at O2 - seats halway back in the arena, oh well, it's the atmosphere that counts!

I was at the O2 last saturday for Prince. It's a pretty good arena. It's the usual corporate playground, but it was a good night. It'll be a great show! :)

    Drinks beforehand? :D

Better to buy another ticket for a different gig than to buy multiples to the same one!!!

I got tickets in the presale... seating for O2 Saturday because I'm taking my daughter....

I'm a bit disappointed with the seats though.. a bit too side-stage and high up for me (only because I have my daughter and wanted really good seats for her seeing it's her first real gig!). The lady at seetickets said they allocated the blocks closest to the stage.. well, it is closest but... anyway.. I got tix! Tried to get better seats this morning but no luck.

    Ed.. block 101, row U seats 13-16

I hear that, although I would rather see Foos seated that not see Foos at all.

Good luck with finding some standing tickets!

Could only get seating for the Manchester gig! Oh well its better then not going at all.
    Dublin 2006
    Katowice 2007
    London 2007
  • I managed to get 4 really good seats for Cardiff in the pre-sale yesterday....once I'd finally worked out where the hell the Cardiff pre-sale had got to!!!

Cardiff was pretty much sold out instantly but then it is by far the smallest show on the tour.

Foos are always well worth seeing live :)

    So what did everyone think?

I had an amazing time at the O2 on Saturday. Front row centre of the second stage so great view of the main stage looking down the runway as well. Don't think my Mum liked me phoning up to say I was 5 feet from Brian May though :p

Nice encore as well throwing out Watershed, For all the Cows and Weenie Beenie! :)

Apparently (I didn't hear it) Jo Whiley has announced Foos @ Wembley Stadium next June :o ... ticket on sale next Friday.

    I don't want a stadium gig :(

Woah! That would be pretty mad. Not too fussed about a stadium gig either, but they put on a good show wherever they play so I'm sure I would probably end up going.

I was at the show on saturday, they were awesome! Our seats were way up in the rafters so they looked like ants on the stage, but the atmosphere was wicked! I must also say that as far as arenas go, O2 aint too bad at all, for the most part the sound was excellent.

Updated now apparently it is 7 June and public onsale will be this Friday 23rd. EDIT: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/events/foofighters2008.shtml

I wondered where you would end up on Saturday. I think as far as standing went I got pretty much the perfect spot (esp for a shorty) ...

Oh by the way Ross Halfin was there on Saturday so keep an eye on his site ;)
