More importantly why is it necessary for people to provide a commentary on things they don't understand?
"horrid 'music' in rap"? Ok chief, if you like
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"
Horrid is a good word, i use it all the time. I suppose to sound like you understand rap you need to say stuff like dat shit be hurtin my eayas.
Nah, there's just nothing worse than people who dislike rap music playing the "it's not music" card. The pusillanimity (that's right ) of dropping the "it's just dumbasses talking over drums" opinion into discussions highlights an ignorance far exceeding anything the likes of Soulja Boy could ever hope to achieve.

I couldn't choose a favorite from talib or common, but definitely a few of their songs are on my list as well. The list is actually really long. REALLY long
"Ah, life is a gate, a way, a path to Paradise anyway, why not live for fun and joy and love or some sort of girl by a fireside, why not go to your desire and LAUGH..."

Aside from the horrid "music" in rap, I can't stand to listen to anything in which the performer feels it necessary to remind the listener in basically every song who they are listening to...I can almost hear eddie now...
Really, why is it necessary to insert the artist's name into damn near every song? I don't understand, and, frankly, I don't care to. That was a rhetorical
