    X&Y was a piece of shit but Viva La Vida is an awesome album......

    that is a pretty stupid reason for breaking up. But meh doesn't really affect me. I like a few of their songs but could care less if they never record another one.

    Coldplay has the same sonic impact on me as a low-noise vacuum cleaner. Wait, I tell a lie. I find myself humming along to the vacuum cleaner occasionally.

    Chris Martin is rock music's answer to C.J. De Mooi from Eggheads, but fed on wet biscuits and wallpaper.

    Strawberry Swing, Lost!, Yes and Violet Hill are all way better songs than Swallowed In The Sea.......


    I can't stand X&Y.....

    Parachutes and Viva La Vida are their best albums......

    I disagree about Coldplay but I'm just amazed someone on here knows of Eggheads :D

    Just saw Coldplay last night and I must say they put on an amazing show!!!! I'm not a die hard fan by any means but It gave me a greater appreciation for the band. Although the show was great I couldn't help but feel they were in it more for the money than the music with their $90+ tickets (which I never would have payed. I'm just glad mine didn't cost me a dime) and their 1 hour 20 minute set. Seemed a little lame considering I saw Metallica play a full 2 hour set at the same venue 2 weeks prior for $67.

    ...makes you appreciate their superior-in-every-way parents, radiohead, who put on an infinitely better show of at least 2 hours every night for half of the price in smaller venues.

    but i likewise saw coldplay a few months ago for free at a tv screening. they did like 5 songs. enjoyable. but i would never pay to see them. especially not a hundred bucks.
