U2 - every song sounds exactly the same
Grateful Dead
Neil Young - he has some good songs, and he is a good musician, but I just don't really dig him
Rolling Stones - I think that they are ok musicians, and obviously have staying power, but in my opinion, they are the most over rated band of all time.
you couldn't swing if you were hangin' from a palm tree in a hurricane.
Led Zep(mostly because of Plant),I just don't get it,and just about any modern rock( Modest Mouse,Death Cab,QOTSA,ect)
I'm suprised(and happy) only a few mentioned The Dead.
Thanks! I usually don't read the titles of the threads I post under! That will really help me in the future...;)
In all seriousness, the Beatles are just so good, in so many different ways, that it's really hard to believe that there are people who don't like them...

I think the Beatles are great but those kind of responses are what the original poster was thinking of I'd assume.
Hmm Well I don't think he is the greatest but i do disagree, of course your opinion is just that yours so no arguments.
I'm just curious have you heard his work on Temple of the Dog and do you dislike that also?
I think that is his best work personally.
yeah, didnt care for temple of the dog either. hunger strike is good and so is say hello to heaven, and i can stand a few soundgarden tunes... but there are so many people, ESP round here, that act like he's the second coming or something.
hey, hey...wait...I know this thread is freedom of speech oriented, but....what did u say?....I mean...what?
Yea I can't believe it either. Or that there are people who don't like Zeppelin. Its pretty unbelievable. But, thats why everyone has their own taste I guess.

Sorry If I Hurt Your Feelings Guy....i Just Dont Like The Beatles!!!! I Only Like One Song: Because..... But I Just Never Really Like Them, Is It A Sin Or What?
There's Someone Who Doesnt Like The Ramones...he Or She Should Burn In Hell!!!! Hehehhehe Just Kidding!!!!

I have a lot of respect for the Beatles because of the fact that a lot of the stuff that they did hadn't been done before, but the music itself just doesn't do it for me. I do like some of the stuff that John Lennon did after the Beatles broke up and also some of George's guitar playing, but Paul McCartney might be the blandest man on the planet. They were the first real pop band and first real world-wide superstars and they did so much for music as far as songwriting goes, that I could never hate them or anything. It's just the music is not my thing. But it is hard to deny their influence on almost everything you here today.
I'm sure there are more then the ones listed below, and i'm willing to admit that some of these bands had good songs. That being said i never really got into them like other people seemed to...
Queen
Aerosmith
Sex Pistols
Ramones
Oasis
Beastie Boys
EEERIE VEEEERIE VEEEERIE EEEERIE!

IF YOU WANT A PLATE OF MY BEEF SWELLINGTON, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO PAY THE COVERCHARGE.
If anyone has any good ideas for band names PM me cause me and my band are amazingly stuck for ideas. Darn that band Pearl Jam for having such a cool name
U2 and fucking Linkin Park... someone needs to tell these guys to fucking STOP!
I also really dislike the arcade fire... and our lady peace
I am sad to see that Cornell, and my dearly beloved REM are on this list... and i find it hilarious that so many people quietly hate queen hehehe

Every mainstream band/artist whose first album was released in 1999 or later - that's my answer. Truly, its as if the entire music business has been infiltrated by a soulless android army.
Other than that, I don't think there's anyone in classic rock (or classic alternative rock) that I can't stand. Maybe I don't like them as much as other people do, but I can at least appreciate them for what they are. Even dumb pop music from the 80s, or fucking 70s disco, I can appreciate for what it is. But something happened in 1999 where everything went to shit.
On a side note, its difficult for me to understand Led Zeppelin as the response for a lot of people here, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. They are a very weird band when you think about it. But I fucking love that band, so it doesn't make sense to me that they could not be liked, or even not be completely loved. When I listen to Led Zep its like everything is right in the universe. I feel that way listening to a lot of bands, but with Led Zep, its like they have some extra magic to them, like they're coming from a different time and place.

Sufjan Stevens - EVERYONE I know is on this guy's tip...He puts me to sleep
Audioslave - How is it possible that they're popular? I guess the same way it's possible that a majority of people in the US voted for Bush
