![deadnothingbetter](https://w0.vanillicon.com/0064dffcae68dfa1e7b1053b2df77c1a_100.png)
I've already done a post like this but these are my final and official albums. Starting from my favorite... I judged based on quality, sound, influence and "catchiness" that captures my OWN attention and that has influenced me to be what I enjoy in music today.... it's all about me and for me... there were so many bands that I really love but these are the ones that really stood out for me. Albums that I will live with my entire life... so here they are. I also judged the albums at how consistently good their songs were.... i can't stand albums that only have 3 or 4 good songs. and i found out about myself that i really enjoy melodious music... in fact, almost all my favorite albums have a melow sound to it... except of course a few
Cafe Tacuba - Cuatro Caminos
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless
The Mars Volta - Deloused in the Comatorium
The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
Doves - The Last Broadcast
Yo La Tengo - I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One
Starflyer 59 - Gold
Slowdive - Souvlaki
Radiohead - Kid A
Interpol - Turn On the Bright Lights
ok.... now you think really reallly realllllyyyyy hard and post your own.

I don't think it's a poser list. If you would've had the Arcade Fire on there, then yes it would've been
the guys are just tossing with you mate. that is a pretty hipster list you've got over there! good tunes, good music.
but i'll take the soft bulletin over yoshimi any day of the week.
also i believe kid a is not a patch on ok computer.
my favorite 10 at the moment would be something like this:
vitalogy
binaural
higway 61 revisited
leviathan
beyond
return to cookie mountain
buena vista social club
ok computer
led zep II
the beatles 1962 - 1966
now that's a fucking poser list, but as you said - we can't help we've a house in hipster ville

obviously you wrote this tongue in cheek, but just in case, arcade fire are a great band dude. there's a lot of arcade fire pushers for the simple reason that their disks are worth spinning.
"Call me Ishmael. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me on shore, I thought I would sail about a little and see the watery part of the world." Herman Melville : Moby Dick
pearl jam-riot act
interpol-turn on the bright lights
neil young-after the goldrush
iron and wine-the creek drank the cradle
iron and wine/calexico-in the reins
david kitt-the big romance
tool-lateralus
metallica-and justice for all
slayer-seasons in the abyss
i cant put them in any order, its impossible...........
the thing about radiohead... i guess i'm different from most but i personally like what they did in kid a... it has such a dreamy sound and very hypnotic... i love music like that. i wish they pulled off another album like it... well, they kinda did with amnesiac but not as affective. i do love ok computer though... my favorite i think is the tourist...or let down... or paranoid android. i dunno
fair enough. i think i even prefer amnesiac to kid a. and don't get me wrong i love kid a......says a lot about how much i adore amnesiac and ok computer.
i love yoshimi, but the soft bulletin just grabs be by the short and curly
but, bottom line.....pearl jam rules my melodic universe without interference
