  • The 2 Missy Higgins albums (via iTunes)

    The Sound of White
    &
    On a Clear Night

That girl has some serious talent. Both amazing albums - can't believe I went so long without listening to her.

  • rivers cuomo - alone. getting more of sftbh is always cool. and having non-lossy versions of longtime sunshine and blastoff was worth the cd alone.
  • Adam Green - Garfield

    ha. I love that guy.
  • Last CD I bought was The Moon & Antarctica by Modest Mouse, and it's incredible.

I also have recently pre-ordered Meet The Eels and Useless Trinkets by Eels. It's a combination of a one disc greatest hits, two discs of b-sides and rarities, as well as a dvd of music videos and a dvd of a Lollapalooza 2006 performance.
“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut

I picked up Radiohead's "In Rainbows" at HMV last night for only $10. Unlike everybody else on the planet I decided to wait for the actual physical CD to be released. Great album!
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

Neil Young - Decade, I thought that might be a good way to learn about uncle Neil's music - which I haven't listened to much before -
