    Wintersleep- untitled

Best rock album I've heard in a while. They're a Canadian band from Halifax. They opened for Pearl Jam in St. John's, Newfoundland back in '05, and just recently they opened a string of dates for The Tragically Hip in the U.S. Here's some info on the band for anybody who's interested.

    Some reviews of the album:
    http://www.kludgemagazine.com/reviews/Wintersleep/Wintersleep/
    http://www.30music.com/rev.php?rev=1945&mode=
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

    -Tom Waits
