Still my best gig of all time, they were just amazing, Thom's Voice just kept giving and Johnny was just wild on stage, especially during Paranoid Android.
Utterly breathtaking from beginning to end.

When John Martyn's on good form, no-one can touch him. I could pick any one of several gigs he's done that would count as my favourite gig. He's also played a couple of stinkers, but I can forgive him those.
I'd have to say that the Rolling Stones concert I saw in Moncton, New Brunswick would be up there. Some great opening acts such as Our Lady Peace and The Hip. Had some great singalongs and some great food without long lines as I was VIP. It was the second time I saw The Stones in concert, and definitely my favorite time seeing them. The outdoor event with 90 000 just let them build a 7 story stage, the show was great, the music was great. Can't complain!

that was the name of the band. rick derringer played with johnny winter for a short time.
at a concert at the Freedom Palace (KC) in the early 70's they played 'mean town blues' .. fantastic. fucking unreal.
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

Whats the best non pearl jam gig you ever attended? I would have to say seeing Dylan the day we started bombing Afghanistan, and he played Masters of War and Blowin in the Wind. Pretty special and auspicious gig

I remember seeing Johnny Winter in a tattoo magazine about 20 years ago, and he looked old and unhealthy even then.
Well, one of the best ones was Manu Chao. I was pretty high and the concert was just great. They played all their songs up-tempo. How amazing!
Haha same thing here dude. I never heard of them before seeing them at Werchter last year and they were amazing. I will be seeing them twice this summer and cant wait!
