i think thats supposed to be .ORG ??
I change by not changing at all.
  • hey everybody, just wanted to give a heads up- I was able to get tickets to see Springsteen at Wembley Arena on 11/11. You wont be able to order on-line on UK Ticketmaster since there is no shipping outside of UK option or will call option there, so your order wont be accepted. However, I called in to their 24 h phone center and reserved tickets for box office pick up.

here is the number to call (Ticketmaster number for people calling from outside of UK) if anyone else is looking into this, you have to dial 011 for int. call and then: +44(0)161 385 1138 (skip the zero)

    BRUCE LETS HIS SPANISH FLY
10/21, Valencia: After a bit of a slow start in Madrid, the Spanish run gets up to speed with an energetic show in Valencia, Bruce's first-ever performance there. Sal at Point Blank writes, "Bruce nearly filled the 30,000-seat soccer stadium in Valencia, and delivered a tremendous performance. From the opening chords of 'John Henry' you could tell he was in great shape and full of energy. Yes, it was one of 'those' nights." Set highlights included "Growin' Up" and "The River" back to back, and in the encore, the surprise debut of "Love of the Common People." Written in 1967 by Ronnie Wilkins and John Hurley, it was the title track of a Waylon Jennings album that year; it was later a hit for Paul Young and has been also covered by Stiff Little Fingers, Elton John, Indigo Girls, John Denver, and others. "Ha sido un público fantástico. Volveremos a Valencia," said Bruce -- "It has been a fantastic crowd. We'll come back to Valencia!"
10/22, Granada: Another high-intensity show, featuring the tour debut of "The Promised Land," which kicked off the encore. It was an acoustic arrangement, with Bruce on guitar and harmonica, Soozie Tyrell and Frank Bruno on backing vocals. Bruce dedicated it to the people of Andalucia. "Love of the Common People" stayed in, moving to the main set. And perhaps a taste of things to come, "Youngstown" was soundchecked both nights.
Next: The fourth of five shows in Spain, Tuesday in Barcelona at Palau Sant Jordi -- home of the * Live in Barcelona DVD

has anyone seen that * DVD ? The Spanish crowds make us here in the US look silly!

  • bathgate- almost any European crowd makes US crowds look silly...

Im loving those new set lists, however you know Im gonna be freaking nervous about this whole deal, I always get like that when I get will call tickets, until I got em in my hands. My seats are on the floor looks like next to the soundboard, Id rather have had those first section next to stage seats, but at least Im in the building, knock on wood...

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL IN OSLO
During yesterday's soundcheck in Oslo, Springsteen talked with reporters about the Seeger Sessions album and tour, now more than halfway through its final European leg. "You're a always in shock at how something you, say, started in your little bedroom... or we started in the living room of my farmhouse... how it plays out, thousands of miles from home." Watch the interview online now: http://www.side2.no/musikk/article787162.ece And dig that guitar!

no problem- gotta share the Bruce ! ;)

As far as US Dates , unfortunately, there are none scheduled after Europe . :(

Alltho that could change anyday now - and the anual Christmas Shows ( in Asbury Park NJs Convention Hall ) havent been scheduled , either.

I cannot believe he's been here twice since May and I've gone to neither of the concerts!
Tried to get tickets the ifrst time, second time I was sick and actually forgot about the whole tickets-going-on-sale-thing, but maaan I would love to be there! Saw an interview on saturday night with him and it just seems like he (them) are having so much fun playing these songs..

agreed- Bruce and the SSB are having a blast with these shows. Every show brings a new, redone classic in this different style- so fresh and new- even tho many of the songs are " older " .

You can always try the " drop " lines - either at the venue- or with the ticketmaster company ( or whoever handles the sales in your area ) . Bruce is known for dropping seats even the day of the show- and sometimes these " dropped " seats are the very best in the house.

those are extremely cool- nothing like seeing Bruce in that Hall. I have been l;ucky enough to go the last few years at Convention Hall, and the most recent time was actually at a bar - Harrys Roadhouse down in Asbury Park . Yes- a bar ! can you imagine ! ?
That was probably the craziest I have been to .

here are some pics from that crazy night :
