WOW! Thanks again sweet idratherbe. That meant so, soooo much!
I'm at a loss for words (which you KNOW is odd).....
Aww, you're so welcome... I knew you'd flip and was hoping so much that you could hear! We were far back enough to not get total speaker overload, and you stayed on the phone, so I figured everything was reasonable as far as the sound...
WOW what a show! I was so lucky to be there; missed out on the giveaway Monday evening but then won tickets through the email contest yesterday morning. Seats were GREAT (thanks AIC!), about 18 rows back, floor level, in the center, which in the Moore is still damn close. Lots of people rushed the front so I had plenty of room around me to jam out, dance, sing, and basically rock my ass off.
Great set, great guests (with the exception of the lame lady "comedian" emcee), the band was tight, and DuVall did a nice job. It was good to see/hear that he's not trying to replace Layne, just trying to do a good job as a front man, and he DEFINITELY has studied up on the lyrics. Jerry was totally fired up.
Good times! I'd recommend going to see them if there's a show coming to your town.
~peace~

Thank you so much for giving me your extra ticket. That was so incredibly nice of you to do. I told the guy next to me about your nice gesture and he started yelling happily (I didn't know he was drunk, haha).
It was a real treat seeing them play, let alone the intensity they brought. Duvall was humble and left all the theatrics to the rest of the band. Sean Kinney is one hell of a drummer...very meticulous with the cymbals.

You're welcome. I really wanted it to go to someone who would appreciate the opportunity. It was a great show. So nice to see them doing what they love to do.
And I was very happy seeing Kim Thayill, one of my favorite local guys. I met him on my 21st birthday in a bar downtown... lol.

Yes, Very cool of you to offer your extra ticker OfTheGirl.
Oh SHE deals them off of the top. Ties them off.
Fills it up with HER past. Gets carried away.
Oh half HER life a hand me down wasted away.
Oh SHE fills it up with the love of a girl.
Oh SHE left it alone drilled the pain with money to buy.
How SHE makes HER getaway. How SHE makes his getaway.
Oh SHE chose a path. Heavy the fall. Quarter to four.
Fills HER night with the thought of a girl.
How SHE makes HER getaway. How SHE makes HER getaway.
How SHE makes HER getaway. Get away.
