This is such a weak thread, how old are we here 10? You all need to know that there are other bands out there besides PJ and if PJ is all you listen to you probably scare the band.
This could be fun.......I will miss alot but I can name what comes off the top of my head

"Why would they come to our concert just to boo us?" -Lisa Simpson
I've heard of, and appreciate some, Merzbow. He's not the world's worst musician. He's the worst musician if you only appreciate safe blues-based rock music like DMB or pop music. Some people need to branch the fuck out a bit. If nothing else, at least noise musicians are provoking a reaction.
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"
's.c.i.e.n.c.e'. and 'make yourself' are both in my top ten list+ they were awsome in Nijmegen opening for pearl jam last summer!
me too, my friend is just starting to get me into them. i saw them this summer and they were real good. s.c.i.e.n.c.e and fongus amongus are great albums. i'm also ashamed to admit i really like their new song "dig."
I respect every opinion so far even though I disagree with some (love tool, incubus, rush, etc) HOWEVER I can't understand or accept that someone wrote JEFF BUCKLEY. Jeff Buckley is one of the few artists I have ever heard that I can't imagine anyone hating.

Agreed

Unfortunately, I heard a reason being "he sounds so gay". This is the same reason I've heard for not liking Morrissey. Sounds good to me!
i hate so much music it's not funny, but here's a list off the top of my head:
OAR
Jack Johnson
The Eagles
Rusted Root
Creed
Alter Bridge
Days of the New
Tantric
Godsmack
Disturbed
Drowning Pool
Hell Yeah
Nickleback
Incubus
They Might Be Giants

Kid Rock
Korn

Eric Claptain (Cream is okay but i hate all his other stuff)
NOFX
I skipped right to the end, so forgive me if they've been mentioned...
THE WHITE STRIPES. To me, they are a media (i.e. RS) creation who should be lucky to get a gig at a frat party.

Your dislike for Bob Marley has more to do with his popularity and powerful lyrics or is it your incopitence?
If Bob Marley sucks then Pearl Jam sucks too. :(

the only thing that I hate more than Bob Marley is your spelling.
Of course I dislike all raggae, so it's no surprise. Yes, that's right, I hate raggae, both of their chords, and the one drum beat they have.
Calling someone on their spelling and then spelling Reggae "Raggae" is pretty hilarious.

I can't stand Bob Marley. I wouldn't say he sucks. I just don't like his music or any other "reggae" music. I also tend to get annoyed with Bob Marley fanatics. The ones I have known or met have all been potheads who spend far more time rambling aimlessly about the problems of the world than actually doing anything about them. Reminds me of the South Park "hippy" episode.
Additionally, I don't like:
Killswitch Engage
Oasis
Interpol
Jet
Maroon 5
U2 (post-Achtung Baby)
Buckcherry
The Beastie Boys
Coheed and Cambria
Sonic Youth
Jack Johnson
Journey
Fallout Boy
Arctic Monkeys
Dave Matthews Band
It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

....And Pearl Jam still sucks..ahh just kidding. Well, good for you and some others don't like reggae music however there's many others around the world who do.
While at the sme time never heard of Pearl Jam.

And I never said anything otherwise. The same could be said for Yanni. As I've said on countless other threads, saying bands/artists "suck" is lame and ignorant, particularly when they have connected with and influenced huge numbers of people (like Bob Marley). If you don't like something, just say that. "Suck" takes the subjectivity out of all of this, and all we do here is be subjective.
If it makes you feel better, I occasionally like Bob Marley songs when they are covered by others and have the reggae taken out of them.
It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.
I hate to admit this but I like Angels and Airwaves... one of my few flaws I guess... something about it... weird I know but I just got their newest album recently.
Oh and bands I don't like... Uh... Almost anything that's out now... I like classic rock... Stones, Airplane, Dead, Captain Beefheart, Zappa, The Remains, Animals, etc.
Hating Bob Marley is like hating beer. I agree, that is a wow.
