Most of it was Dirty South merchandise
Sadly, I didn't get anything...I should have.

The 40 Watt DVD is clutch.
The lighting is low for most of the show...which is kind of a pain in the ass, but the way it is when you're there, so that was cool.
Good little interviews in between to keep it moving...
I've heard it...it was on in the background when we were playing cards one night, but I haven't actually seen it.
I am going to get it soon...I feel like it is the SVT of this band.

It's good stuff....I promise. As to other merchandise, my lovely Daystar gave me the poster to the DBT show we saw back in November at the Alabama Theater as a birthday present. That was one of the Cooley/Hood 20th anniversary shows. We forgot to take cash to the show way back when, and the merchandise dude could not get his credit receiver to pick up a signal. It should look nice next to my PJ Halifax poster when I frame them both.
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.
While I'm thinking about it, did you see Stephen King mention DBT in the new issue of Etertainment Weekly? It's just a quick mention, but he does praise their work.

That's kind of surprising in a way.
I guess Patterson is kind of scary...
Maybe he's working on a book titled The Dude Who Loved Jason Isbell (In a Cool, Manly Way)

Also a few other DVDs (4/17/05 - Lawrence, KS), and an acoustic in-store performance from 10/18/04.
Add that to the list of why this band rocks. Incredibly taper friendly.

The venue reminds me of the showbox, even a little smaller.
A killer set though...
