Yes! Pearl Jam obviously knows what their best songs are, unlike their fans.
How did it sound? The 2003 performances were pretty under-rehearsed.0 -

This actually makes this the 5th must-have boot in a row. They're no longer pricks for not playing Evacuation, they're pricks for making me spend so much damn money.Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.0

evacuation is a great song, love the changes of tempo
Here here.
As a drummer, I find this song as one of my favorites to jam along with. The time signature changes and off beat fills are pretty tasty.Osaka, Japan (2/21/95), San Diego (7/10/98), Las Vegas (10/22/00), San Diego (10/25/00), Las Vegas (6/6/03), Las Vegas (7/6/06), Los Angeles (7/9/06), VH1 Rock Honors (7/12/08), Ed Solo (7/8/11), Ed Solo (11/1/12), Los Angeles (11/23/13)0 -

good job
I doubt that’s true, but one can dream.
Now that it’s dusted off we need it played in D.C.

I agree. From a guitar point of view it is very fun to play. Its a good rocker. The solo at the end is awesome as well. I love any song Matt comes up with0 -
Was never a HUGE fan of this song, but it was very good last night. And surprisingly the crowd was pretty into.VHC member #155***

Dang, great bump! How did you find this? I wanted to bump this the other day after Chicago was announced and couldn’t find it. Searched pricks and this one did not come up.

Took me years to like this song, but that bridge is just so great. Rest of the song is still kinda just average PJ but it sounds great in the context of the album.0

I don't know what it is about this song. The fuzztone riff at the beginning sounds a bit "Nah-nah-ne-nah-nah", the lyrics and vocal delivery are a bit like Rik from the Young Ones writing a schoolboy ode to the Seattle Riots, and then, come the bridge, we get this Police odyssey, before returning to nah-nah-ne-nah-nah. I'd rather one of the hits that they've played ten million times before, thank you.0
