Yes, I've shown Tori much love in various threads before, but I think she deserves her own thread. She is just so talented and cool, imo. Who's with me?!?

she´s a faboulos woman ,lady
she can sing very very well
what she ´s doin on the piano is fantastic faboulos amazing
every young lead singer should look on her(not on madonna etc.)
she doesn´t need any scandal etc.
she is great !!!

Got to see her this summer and the concert was great!
I was just standing there in awe over how she filled the air with just her and her piano. Still, I prefer her with some backing. Like on the "Welcome To Sunny Florida" dvd. I'm not the biggest fan of hers, but I think she's put out some great work out there. I only have that dvd and a couple of her albums, and I gotta say I prefer From The Choirlgirl Hotel.

And unlike a lot of others I think the Smells Of Teen Spirit cover she did was amazing. She really makes it her own. Black on the other hand..

She's also such a cool lady, saw an interview with her not so long back where she was talking about her daughter ordering champagne to their hotel room at an age of three! That seriously made me laugh out laud, just the way she was telling the story. She seems so dedicated to everything she does; her music, her daughter, everything. She's a great lady.

i am a huge tori fan!! i think she is so beyond awesome!!!! ive seen her a few times, and i prefer her with the band too!
i hope she tours with them again soon,

absolutely love Tori!
Saw her back in '97~ish at this tiny club setting and the woman is amazing!! I fell in love that night. She's so talented and such a great voice!

She is an amazing performer, the first time I went to see her it was the "Under the pink" tour, I couldn't get tickets so I stood in the hallway of the theatre just listening to her until I got thrown out, I got tix for the "Boys for Pele" tour and it was one of THE best gigs I have ever been to, when she sat on the edge of the stage and sang "Me and a gun" it was mesmerising.

I saw her again on the next tour and It was amazing but not as good as the last time, I have to say her first 3 albums (especially "Pele") are untouchable classics but I haven't been blown away by her last couple of albums, I still love her though, there were a couple of great covers on "Strange little girl", "Time" almost makes me burst into tears everytime I hear it!

Scarlet's Walk is a great album- if you don't have it, give it a try. I especially love A Sorta Fairy Tale, Carbon, Crazy, Virginia, Gold Dust & I Can't See New York (gee, just a few!). She's in top form on that one, imo. I'm still warming up to The Beekeeper, but then again, it took me many listens to love Under the Pink. She's not the most accessible artist, but the reward of giving her music time to sink into your bones is indescribable.

I saw her during her very first US tour, for Little Earthquakes. It was in a small, old-fashioned theater that seats less than 1000 and she was phenomenal. I was pregnant with my son at the time, so I tell him that he was at the Tori show, too. He just rolls his eyes at me, of course.

I really NEED to see another show of hers. She's just great, live. Have you seen the Welcome to Sunny Florida DVD? I really love it. Wonderful selection of tunes on it.

does anyone have her "fade to rred" dvd yet??? i think my firned was gonna pick it up this week and we are going to have a tori fest on friday and watch it ( we have PJ/Tori fests all the time, its great!)... just wondering what ppl thought,... im sooooo excited to see it
