Right now he's got the single of the week on US iTunes, and last I heard was in the top ten of the Alternative Albums downloads chart, as well as in the top 20 of the overall album chart. And that's with no label support whatsoever.
Hopefully this may translate into a small-scale US tour for the American fans.

The more I hear it the more I love it. I can't wait to see the tour in September. Not to rub it in or anything :D

Yep not uncommon for Mr. Good. The most amazing song I've ever heard (with guitar tuned to Eb) is Tripoli. Especially the acoustic version from "In a Coma".

After listening quite a bit, I think "A Single Explosion" is the best song on the album, just awesome.

Also really like "99% of us is failure" and "She's in it for the money".

OLP and Matt Good were fighting?

Both bands said derogatory things about each other, but nothing every really came of it. It was all talk. Muchmusic and Chart Magazine (Canada's version of Rolling Stone) made a big deal of it at the time and tried to turn it into this huge rock n' roll feud, which I thought was funny. I remember a hilarious interview with the Headstones' Hugh Dillon on Much around that time where they asked him what he thought of the OLP/Matt Good feud, and he replied "I think they both suck equally." Funny stuff.
    that's my man Hugh. LOL

I know there's some Matthew Good fans on the board and I just wanted to let you know that Matt put up a b-side to his new album on his myspace page. This song is amazing, if it's a b-side, the album is going to be incredible.
