Hey Toadies fans,

Here are the dates for June 2008.

New Toadies shows confirmed - not announced to the public until tomorrow - Tickets for all shows (except San Antonio) go on sale this Friday. San Antonio goes on sale 4/11.

6/20 – San Antonio – Sunset Station

6/21 – Fort Worth – Ridglea Theater (sold out)

6/24 – Atlanta – Masquerade

6/25 – Washington DC – Black Cat

6/26 – NYC – Bowery Ballroom (sold out)

6/27 – Cambridge, MA - Middle East Underground

6/28 – Philadelphia - Trocadero
I think Tickets go on sale through ticketmaster, but also try the venue websites.

Please keep this bumped so that Toadies fans can see this. Sorry for the short notice on ticket releases, this info was just released today, and no it's not an April fools day joke.

very nice. none of those places are in my area. but I saw them in Myrtle Beach on the last album's tour and there were only about 1000 people in a 2000 capacity venue, so I can't really blame them for not making this a stop.

but I do want them to record new stuff in a bad way, any word on that? is Lisa the bassist or they have somebody else touring? what is the lineup? what is the status of the Burden Brothers?

New Music? I really hope so. I had the same question and then I found these while watching some of their old videos, and it definitely sounds like Todd singing.

Bump for Toadies fans. Please help me keep this bumped so the Toadies fans can see it. I'd post it in the porch cause it would get even more looks in there, but it's "other music", so figured the mods would movie it here.

Thanks for your help everyone, I just know that the Toadies have alot of fans here, and just want people in the area to be able to know they are playing a tour and so fans can see them if they want. I have no idea on the venue size for these shows though.

  • Wonder if it's possible they'll be at Lollapalooza this year? I'd love to see them.

i'd sell those pearl jam tickets and go see the toadies. when do you think your next chance is of seeing the toadies? not too good, huh? when do you think your next chance is of seeing pearl jam? hell of a lot better than seeing the toadies, don't you think?

    to the OP:
do the toadies have thier own website? i can't find anything online (although, i didn't do a hell of a lot of searching). also, ticketmaster isn't listing the cambridge, ma show, so i have no idea how much tickets are. little help here?

damn, i've been wanting to see this band for as long as i can remember. i really hope it's a doable situation for me. i'd hate to miss out on seeing them when they're playing only a few hours away from home.

Yeah, the Toadies do have a street team fan site right now which is
http://www.fancorps.com/thetoadies This site will give you the most up to date first hand toadies info. It is a street team so every time you log in you will see a point value, however you are welcome to participate in as many street team assignments as you like.

There is also a website that is still under construction being made and that is http://www.thetoadiesrock.com. All that is listed on there currently is tour dates though which are listed above.

I have no idea why the ticket prices are not up on ticketmaster yet. Only shows available information wise are ft worth and NYC, but All tickets except San antonio (they go onsale April 11th) go onsale tomarrow more thann likely at 10am when TM opens.

The Middle East website says $13. And my tix are 10C, so I either go or eat them. Like I said, I'm going to the MSG shows, so I'm gonna see if I can make that Bowery show work...

I'm a little dissapointed that Austin and Houston got skipped. There is room in that schedule though to add those two cities. Judging from the videos I found up there in the beginning on the thread, I think we may be seeing the toadies again soon cause it looks like they could be working on some new material I hope so anyway.

I'm gonna bump this one more time, since all tickets go onsale tomarrow except for San Antonio which goes on sale April 11th. I just want to give Toadies fans in the areas or close by the areas an opportunity to see the shows and know they are on the road. They put on such a great show.

The line up besides VTL, will be
Mark "Rez" Reznececk on drums (original member)
Clark Vogeler- Guitar (Played Guitar on Hell Below/ stars Above, and what was supposed to be "Feeler" though interscope rejected it's release. Clark Also played on Both live albums they have.
Mark Hughes will most likely be on Bass. Mark took over after Lisa Umbarger left halfway through the HB/SA tour. Mark also plays in a local Dallas band called Baboon and they are great. No word yet on opening acts. I will post once I know, but the Toadies usually bring along some indie local bands with them that no one has heard of. That is actually how I became a fan of Baboon, space cadet, the Lions ect.

Also, for those wanting pictures with the band, autographed cd's ect, the band signs stuff for you, so you can meet the band, and you get pictures too with them if you want to. I've only been to one Toadies show where they didn't do a meet and greet, and that was the Dallas St. Patricks 2006 after party. That crowd was nothing but a bunch of Assholes, but I knew what I was getting myself into. LOL. But yeah, take your camera and get pics with the band, get your cd's signed if you want.

So glad to see so many people into the Toadies. I hope you guys have fun at the shows. Unfortunatley, I can't afford to travel to see them this go around. They are Great live, they still got it trust me.
The Ft worth show sold out in 15 minutes this morning. the venue is super small though, only holds like 200 maybe 300 people. Sucks I won't be at this one.

Baboon is a good Texas band, as are Slobberbone and Rev Horton Heat which I think are both Toadies acquaintances as well. but I am still disappointed that Lisa is not the bassist. is it because she is not interested in doing it anymore or because VADEN doesn't want her back in the band?
