    Urs,

Neither radiohead.com nor pollstar.com have these dates/venues yet. How reliable is absolutepunk.net?

The Grant Park date would seem to point towards a Lollapalooza appearance. Fenway? That would seem to mean that PJ will not play there, despite the annual rumors.

I have no clue as to the reliability of these dates, my boss sent me this link.

I'm not believing anything until I get official dates.. but its always fun to speculate :D

    Jesus titty-fucking Christ

I know. I'm hoping they play Toyota Center in Houston but they will probably play the woodlands even though when it rains at woodlands it sucks cause they have a huge ass tarp covering the sound system and you can't see a damn thing no matter where you sit if you are on the lawn. :(
I doubt they would play Verizon wireless theater again but guess we will just have to see. I just want to get a ticket. I have never seen radiohead cause their shows sell out so fast, and when they played the woodlands last time, I was in school and living in Dallas. God I hope I can get a ticket.
Edit: Just saw the above rumored venues (hope they are legit). Seeing them at Toyota center will be great, however buying tix through the Toyota center website is a real pain in the ass. They don't give enough time to fill out all the stuff and then your tickets get released you have like 2 minutes with a countdown clock to fill out 3 pages of info.
    PJ: 10/14/00 06/09/03 10/4/09 11/15/13 11/16/13 10/08/14

i thought bon jovi was the strong rumor to play fenway this year?

i would think radiohead.com would post first and then other places...but pollstar.com is always, always, always slow to add shows. i've bought tickets for a bunch of shows from ticketmaster before it shows up on pollstar.com.

i would obviously go to a fenway radiohead show, but it wouldn't be my first choice for a venue.

i could see two nights at msg...but giants stadium, that would be like 120k people for two nights (i'm estimating)
  • Bollocks I say to these dates, pure speculation. No way Radiohead can do 2 nights at Philips, especially midweek. Nor would the Phillies allow a concert the day before a 6 game homestand, the field would be too torn up. Nor could they do Fenway Park, and there's no way the city Fenway would do a midweek show. All Fenway concerts have been Saturdays: Police, Buffett, DMB, Stones, Bruce. I think some of these could be right, otherwise it's just some creativity.

It may just depend on the band. I saw Tool at Toyota Center and the sound was pretty good for that one I thought. Really the astrodome is the only crappy venue we have, but they don't use that for shows anymore since they have reliant stadium.

My guess is it will be right around $60 for the face value of the ticket. Then Ticketmaster will step in and rape you for $15+.

But I do know it will be a 2+ hour show with different set lists each night and crazy lighting effects. Well worth it imo.

Really, I didn't know they mix up the setlists - sweet, thanks for the info.

I really hope they play two Toronto shows then.

Vancouver at T-Bird. Great venue, always wished PJ would play there. Last time radiohead was there was truly epic. Sun going down, great music, etc!
Hoping PJ will play the Gorge around the same time as Radiohead. One can hope........

    Urs,

They won't be in Los Angeles until August and it's at either Hollywood Bowl or the Greek Theater, and that's according to Ed O'Brien. I'd take his word over AbsolutePunk's anyday.

Probably not, and not in a million years two nights in a row. These dates are completely made up. I'm just amazed that any clown can post a bunch of dates and suddenly everybody is making plans. The same thing happen on the Foo Fighters board last month. It happen on this board as well in the Spring of 2006 when some idiot posted an entire PJ tour that included multiple Southern dates. Radiohead is not going to suddenly start playing stadium shows in the US. I love them but they barely sell more records than PJ and they rarely play shows with a capacity over 15,000. To think they're going from that to playing 80,000 seat stadiums this summer is just not realistic.
