    Tampa!

They have never played a headlining show here.

    Good times.

Very happy about the Boston show, although I didn't doubt for a second that they'd play here.

i hope they mean boston and not the tweeter center in mansfield or worse, the dcu center in worcester.

fyi - it looks like the euro dates run from june 6th to july 8th.

i would have to think that any info would have to show up quickly for any shows in april/may. i would have to guess they'll start on the west coast where it is warmer...but you never know.

Yes. Although I'd rather see them at the Centrum (DCU) then at the Tweeter Center. That place is a disaster to get in and out of, and ya can potentially sit a mile away from the stage. Plus, the acoustics are meh.

Are tickets reasonable for these guys? I've always wanted to see them live, but I just can't see myself spending more than say $60 per ticket.

My guess is it will be right around $60 for the face value of the ticket. Then Ticketmaster will step in and rape you for $15+.

But I do know it will be a 2+ hour show with different set lists each night and crazy lighting effects. Well worth it imo.

  • If the shows are anything like the Bonnaroo 06 show, then yes, it's well worth it... just, getting the money is the problem :'(

i would say it all depends if the boston shows are in the spring or in aug/sept...but i've been to a couple garden shows in summer months.

as awesome as it would be for them to play the orpheum i hope to hell they don't since it will be next to impossible to get tickets (unless you want to pony up the $$$).

bank of america pavilion again would be awesome. best place in boston to see a summer show. i went to both shows there last year...er, 2006...and they were awesome. from what i've heard though they are going to play bigger venues this tour. maybe suffolk downs like 2001? maybe multiple shows at agannis arena?

my money is on an august or september show at the tweeter center like they did for hail to the thief tour (which i didn't go to for some odd reason that escapes me).

that'd be just as bad as orpheum in getting tickets. I couldn't get through at all for tickets in 2006. You musta been really, really lucky.

I'd like to see em play the Garden, so I have a virtual guarantee of tickets.

i'd take the garden. i went to both pavillion shows solo...so getting a single ticket for each show wasn't all that hard.
