if this is a VFC type tour, it makes sense that it would be announced tomorrow, 3/19...

March 19 is the 5th anniversary of the tragic invasion of Iraq. We're holding hundreds of vigils around the country to honor the fallen, call on our leaders to end the war, and demand new priorities for America.

I really hope it is more than just one show opposite the republican convention...
A friend, he called, I didn't mention a thing. The last thing he said was, "Be sound". Sound. I contemplated an awful thing, I hate to admit. I just thought those would be such appropriate last words. But I'm still here.
Me too! I have midterms and a thesis to write! Curses!
I can't help but remember (just a few years back) how everyone was on pins-and-needles for the GREATEST Pearl Jam news - ever. Folks called in sick to work, some waited at home, late, so they didn't miss ANYTHING about this HUGE proclamation. It is true, others sacrificed meaningful things like taking a vacation day or not getting paid, just for this news?
This was all bull-shit, blah, blah, blah about a record release - "TA DA!
Yay, a record!!! Isn't it great??? Aren't you jamily members excited about this fantastic news?!? It is simply wonderful for you jammers, yee-ha!"
WTF? That was all? You mean to say that I didn't get paid today, so I could stay glued to my computer? That was a stupid waste of time and money for a simple record announcement... I'll never fall for that one again, ever.
Everyone is born, but not everyone is born the same. Some will grow to be butchers, or bakers, or candlestick makers. Some will only be really good at making Jell-O salad. One way or another, though, every human being is unique, for better or for worse.
He is probably talking about the release of Man of The Hour. What a joke. Or maybe he is referencing the big, bold, and free statement. I would prefer they just send us all an e-mail when there is big news.

They do send out an email. That's how I heard about the Ed solo shows.

Who told you, or anyone else, to stay home from work and not get paid? If you made that choice, deal with it. It was your choice.
