I love iPods and Macs. Have owned a few iPods since Oct of '03. My favorite is the 4g nano - the best travel buddy ever!!! So small you can forget that it's in your pocket loaded full of your very best music from your computer's hd. Have a shuffle for running/cyling -- my company gave every employee a shuffle as a Christmas present last year. I have the 30g video as well...
I like to rip videos you get from bonus or limited edition cd releases. Like QotSA Lullibies and Songs for the Deaf -- 20 minute videos like this don't take as long as full movies converted from Handbrake and QuickTime Pro. Also ripped seasons one and two of that old BBC comedy The Young Ones. Remember that from the good old days of MTV??? A couple episodes of Six Feet Under and Freaks and Geeks too.
YAY Freaks and Geeks! I don't have an ipod but I'd really love one I'd espeically want to be able to put my favourite tv show Freaks and Geeks on it and all my 20gb worth of music on it too. It is so annoying most people at my school who arent even into music at all really have ipods as their parents bought them for them. Oh well maybe one day I'll be able to save up for a tenth generation ipod. I've been entering a competition to win a nano too hopefully I can win one.
Young Ones was a great show! I'm old enough to remember its first run on MTV. Didn't realize that was out on DVD, I'll have to search it out. I've got a few episodes of Family Guy and Aqua Teen Hunger Force stored on my iPod too. Always good for a break...
Not that I'm obseesed w/ adolescence, but I would have to say Freaks and Geeks and Wonder Years are two of my favorite TV shows. Six Feet Under is the best, though.
so ive got to ask... if you get a video ipod... can you put any videos you want on there? i was joking with a friend about being on a plane and the guy next to you watching porn on his ipod!

The show is priceless! I don't think stuff that's so off-the-wall goes over as well these days.
