    That's a bit shit. :(

  • that sux! it was great while it lasted!
  • sounds to me like it may just be an extended break...not necessarily 100% broken up.

Either way, I'm not too dissapointed since each of their last couple of records have been pretty dissapointing.

This sucks. Weezer is one of my favorite bands. Pinkerton is a freaking masterpiece. Oh well.

Pinkerton and Weezer were their 2 best albums imo. The other ones kind of suck. Hope they can put a great album in a few more years.

I hold a special place in my heart for the Blue album. Pinkerton is great as well. I thought the Green album was good pop music. Never cared for Maladroit or Make Believe. Pity I never caught them live. My wife really liked Make Believe which is a sign that they have come to the end of the road. I just wish I'd have heard Only In Dreams live. Oh well. They will be missed.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

Not bummed to hear this. They were fresh and enjoyable to listen to about 5 years ago, but their sh*t def got stale and embarrassingly unoriginal. They def had their holiday in the sun.

I'm kinda glad to hear this.

those last few records were just awful. I'd be embarassed to be Rivers Cuomo.

Pinkerton, The Blue Album and the Green Album were masterpieces.

This makes me really sad. I remember back in high school my pal John and I spent endless hours in his basement (yes, we where nerds!) playing video games and listening to “The Blue Album” and “Pinkerton.” If I made a list of my favorite bands Weezer would definitely make the top 5. “Pinkerton” is a freaking masterpiece. The only bad thing I can say about that album is that it pretty much gave birth to the whole “Emo” genre. “El Scorcho”, “Across the Sea, “Pink Triangle”, hell every song on the disc is a classic. I’m glad I had the opportunity to see them live. I think I’ll go home and listen to “In the Garage” and reflect on some old memories….

rivers wrote some great stuff after pinkerton but not much of it made any albums. the ss2k songs were cool. i think dope nose was the only song from that group and it wasnt the best. weezer was alot of fun but there is enough in the vaults for 3 more weezer cds and songs from the black hole is something fans have been dying for. maybe we will get it now.
