How many more Chris Cornell threads do we need?

There seems to be 5 or 6 new ones every time i check this site.

So have a new one.

I don't like Chris Cornell.

    Ya i liked him when he was with soundgarden but now he just sucks, i saw him at a concert here in tucson lol, he was booed through alot of his preformance

    i love chris cornell and i love chris cornell threads.
    a few months ago he said that he reads this forum if he wants to know what people think about him and his music.
    maybe chris cornell related music should get an own sub-forum in other music, that would also help people that don't like him.

    I think he is a decent singer but hasnt made any worthwhile music for a long time and is not worthy of having this many threads about him

    i'm waiting for the day that the "other music" forum is renamed "chris cornell" forum

    he's nowhere as good as everyone makes him out to be. without Audioslave or Soundgarden he makes sub-par music

    That is quite likely, when half the threads about him are by people complaining about the abundance of CC threads.

    And have you listened to Euphoria Morning? That is far from sub-par.

    he is one of the best vocalists ever... People have just recently seen him, personally this is a dream... to hear soundgarden songs and totd.... Im not old enough to have gone and seen those bands. Also i didn't see audioslave..

    People are on a cornell high ...

    there are hardly so many that its impossibel to browse this forum... just dont bother clicking on them...

    I agree. Just because it's different than Soundgarden does not make it sub-par. Music is in the "ear of the beholder" and I enjoy EM. Some people are more multi-dimensional with music than others.

    There cant exist enough threads about this magical man, for me he is the most amazing vocalist and songwriter of all times!!

    Everytime I hear him sing he blew me away!! I saw him live last week and it was a kickin´ ass show, he has his voice totally under control.......deep goin´!!

    I think Carry On is good. It's got some nifty songs on and the backing band is great. But I think his voice isi the weak link. It sounds like he's got his old pipes back which is amazing, I never thought I'd hear him sing like that again. But on the album, I just don't think he sings with emotion. He just whails and TBH it sounds boring and annoying after a while. Just look at how aggressive he sounded in Soundgardens "Gun" or even when playing "Billie Jean" at the Sweeden acoustic gig. He can certinally do it live, I just don't get why he doesen't do it in the studio.
