Oh, that's a bad one buddy. I do like My Chemical Romance, my eldest daughter has them, they're ok. Point is I aint embarressed about anything I like, I don't give a shit if anyone hears me belting out a bit of Niel Diamond when I'm driving around..."I AM, I SAID...TO NO ONE THERE...."

Oh dear, did I just say that out loud?
    I came, I saw, I concurred.....

Haha, the first song that came to mind was that Goo Goo Dolls song called Iris. It played once in a while on our crappy soft-rock radio station at the supermarket where I used to work... it was one of the few good tunes on there.

When it comes to bands, I will not-so-proudly admit that Bon Jovi has a decent amount of great songs that most haters have probably never heard. I used to really dig them back in jr. high, so I'm pretty familiar with all their stuff.

hanson is awesome, but i hate that song ;)

    so... hanson. pink.

slightly less embarrassing but probably disdained by the super-hip people on here: bryan adams, kid rock, bon jovi.

Man, I really love Goo. They are my guilty pleasure. I'm not even ashamed to say it out loud.

If you can tolerate "Iris", you ought to hear their songs that actually "rock". Believe me, there are plenty that don't get radio play that are 100-times better than "Iris".

I don't have any song that I'm embarrassed to admit. I'm kind of one that either loves something or hates it when it comes to music.
  • My Chemical Romance--everything by them....but I've been a fan since the first album

back when they got some love on this board
    the Minions
  • I wouldn't be embarrased by Paul Simon, he has written some great songs.

I mean if Mike can play with Peter Frampton, who am I to be a music snob?

    I love Hole

There is stuff I used to love like Ted Nugent and Judas Priest that I just don't listen to anymore, but it isn't embarrasing.

Of course- I kinda set the pace when my first rock show was the MONKEES during the Summer of Love
    but give me a break- I wasn't even 10.

Extremes - Billy Joel, I've always hid behind the fact that Mic Jones (of The Clash) shares lead vox, but I didn't know better at first.
You are just a negative mindless pud.

If any of their stuff comes on the radio I still know all the words and crank it up, jumping about like a knob.

That is one bad ass fuckin song...no shame in that game says I

Truthfully, i really can't think of any bands I'm ashamed to admit I like. I never hear any pop songs nowadays unless my good friend, who is much closer to being a teeny bopper than I, makes me listen to one. She often tries, she rarely succeeds. Some of the country she likes though, gets through to me....not so much I would actually say I liked it though

Really though, I think nothing anyone likes is embarrassing as long as they like it....unless its the wiggles or something like that
