    personally i love SA, and people who come out with things like they are shit are talking bull. Nobody can deny that Frusciante, Flea and Smith are amazing musicians, but unfortunately the band seems to pander to the record label when it comes to choosing singles. Dani Cali, Snow and Tell Me Baby are the 3 worst tracks on SA. There are some great tracks on the album if you are wiling to give it a chance. Not every track is a mundane pop song.

    i tried to like SA i really did.

    and being a pepper fan it was ironic that won a grammy. a grammy for a so-so album. it's no way near as good as by the way and californcation.

    i mean how can a rocking ass band go from 'suck my kiss' to a song called 'snow'?

    i was glad to see them win, but for SA? come on. the grammy's are given to mainstream boring as crap music.

    you act like pearl jam purposely boycotts the grammys. if they were nominated, everyone on this board would be stroking the hypothetical cock of the grammys and i shudder to think what this place would look like if they won.

    If not for a handful of albums, SA would be the best album. I have hated on RHCP for the longest time, but BTW and SA have made me really appreciate them. Californication is solid, but I think every song on that album was made a single.

    RHCP should be praised for their double album. So many times on the album they channel the Beatles and Hendrix. Sure they 'ripped off' Tom Petty, but that is about the weakest song on the album.

    I also really wanted to love SA...I even bought the Ltd. Ed. version off of their site. SA just got old really fast

    Stadium Arcadium sounds musically and lyrically the same as any other RHCP album... mainly Californication. At first, I really liked Stadium Arcadium... but the more I listened to it, the more it bored the hell out of me... just the same guitar sounds, the same rhyming with words. Meh, whatev.
    If I could, think I would give in.

    I bought the album half a year ago...and still don't like it...I'd prefer BSSM and MM more...even OHM is better...

    BTW - what is RHCP without the funk?? Just a pop-band...same goes for Metallica without solo's...man, I hate that album St.Anger...

    Shouldnt have made it a double album but its got some ripper songs!

    I don't expect much from the Grammy's anymore, and sadly...they never disappoint me.

    If they want to give RHCP Grammy's for making the same album over and over again, I guess it kinda makes up for when they were passed over and actually making good music.

    At the same time, they're still a fun band...haven't lost a step.

    I really think BY THE WAY was even more crappy than SA...the Pepper's haven't released any good cd's this century imo, and will not be able to make one...sadly...

    I think the Grammys should show an "ode to best new artist" with all the winners in history. Milli Vanilli... I don't care if that lip syncing thing never happened... the Grammy committee actually voted and gave it to Milli Vanilli?

    Stadium Arcadium is absolute garbage. It is the most boring, repetative album I've ever heard.
