I have a full 20GB ipod with 3,500+ songs and I'm tired of every last one!

Please recommend some new tunes!!!!

I've been in a big Queens of the Stone Age kick recently, but that comes with every month. Hmmm, the new Sigur Ros is very lovely!

Not sure what your tastes are, but you should check out a band called Hot Tuna. I have been listening to them for 20 years- Jorma Kaukonen (singer, guitarist) and Jack Cassady (bassist) make up the band. Jorma has to be one of the best guitarist on the planet, great voice and great songwriting--check them out! Also, they are fucking amazing live...

Audrye Sessions. A pretty small band at present but I adore them. It might be hard to find their stuff though, and I don't expect you to buy an album from a group you've never heard of. I could send you some?
All my favourite singers have stolen all of my best lines.

The Night, is their most amazing one in my opinion. Really all of their albums are good. Some seem less serious than others. I would say, The Night and Cure for Pain. Though, Yes, Good, and Like Swimming are great too. Their live album is a little meh...mainly due to sound quality.

Cool, thanks. Now that you mentioned it, I remember the album I had was Yes. I love their sound.

Yes, has some amazing tracks. If you liked that, I seriously suggest you get, The Night. It didn't leave my music player rotation for months... I'm listening to it right now too, hehe. The thread I made about them has quite a few tracks from it listed from youtube.

  • How about any of The Black Keys albums. Or any of the Matt Mays albums. Both killer. Add some Joe Strummer, I highly recomend the "Street Core" album. Keep remembering other bands... Kid Dakota. Just killer band out of St. Paul

Check out all the albums I've put on my ipod since last September. There's no Pearl Jam on the list because I already had Pearl Jam before.

I have deleted some of these albums too.
