Put these four albums in their own playlist and hit shuffle. In my opinion, they keep getting better with each album, thus, these are their four best albums to date.

I like the enthusiasm of this suggestion!! :)

Outside Lands tonight... enjoy the show with Zack.
What a great band, for sure. You can't go wrong with any album.

We must have listened to "the bends" cd five times. :p:)

We have that one and OK Computer. Which ones should we buy next?

    Does anyone have suggestions? :)

Justam! I hope all is going great with ya! :D Congrats on finding Radiohead!

Well, with you being a classical musician, you surely will appreciate In Rainbows. There are some really complex songs on that one. I really like every song on that one. Not a hard rocker but a subtle one.

Weird Fishes Arpeggi for instance. Haha, drummer playing in 4/4, guitar riff in 11, and they NAIL that one on stage! Too bad they passed right by you live, as they are as good as it gets live!

Actually you can watch In Rainbows:

I agree!!!! Kid A and Amnesiac are very different than the Bends and OK Computer (which i think was already established) but if you aren't thrilled at first, give it a chance, those 2 albums took time for my husband to appreciate after the bends and OK. They were recorded around the same time so to me they have similar sound. They are such a great band, always trying something new. ENJOY!!!!!

Like that other guy said... if you LOVE The Bends, don't be surprised if their later stuff doesn't rub you the right way. A big departure, but here and there you can still hear some remnants of their "Bends" sound.

The Bends and OK Computer are great cd's (especially OK Computer... all-time top 5 for me). My 2nd favorite after OK is In Rainbows, I guess that would be my suggestion. You can download it for free LEGALLY (some marketing thing they did for the album... pretty cool actually)

I know I'm just repeating a lot of other posts now, but just give them a listen. And if you give it a chance to sink in and grow on you, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
And before his first step... He's off again...

Get "Hail To The Thief" and "In Rainbows". Especially "In Rainbows". They sound like a natural progression after "OK Computer". "Kid A" and "Amnesiac" were sort of a detour and are pretty hard to digest at first. You should get those last.

I looked for you 'cuz I KNEW you'd be there.
I was up in the cheap seats (that were.. i swear, a mile and 1/2 away) but, had a GREAT time. The sound was amazing... the setlist was fantastic... the audience was totally into it. Great show.

You should pick up the live E.P. I Might Be Wrong. It contains live versions of mostly Kid A/Amnesiac tracks but really gives you a feel for why so many people love these "weird" songs live. Plus it has two gorgeous tracks you can't get anywhere else:

True Love Waits - an acoustic love song done by Thom solo.
Spinning Plates- Unlike the album version on Amnesiac, which is sped up, warped, and layered with all kinds of vocal effects, this live version has just Thom singing over his piano, and really lets you appreciate what a great and beautiful song it is.

I was there. Cuyhogha Falls, August 2000. 110 degrees. Definitely the highlight of the show. (For me, anyway.)
