They finally contact Kerensa & I ended up getting some shitty ass seats in the boonies (not even in the FC section.) At least I got in the building though, the 2nd night the same fucking thing happened. This time they couldn't get in touch with ANYONE at TC & I got royally fucked with no tix & didn't get to see the show. (I didn't have enough cash on me to see if there was anything at the window...as I wasn't planning on having to purchase tix.)They were the only 2 shows I was able to go to that tour too. I almost canceled my membership I was so pissed. (Of course now I'm glad I didn't as I woulda only hurt myself.) lol.

I remember my friend & I even stooping as low as to verbally assault the guy at the ticket window when he refused to call someone from the TC. He was some old ass, who didn't understand the importance of the situation. lol.

Well, I had emailed Kerensa about it the first night & didn't even get a sincere apology. I asked her to make sure everything was ok for night 2, but apparently that was too much for her. She was less than helpful & actually quite condescending & rude & had a "whoops, shit happens" attitude. Her whole attitude about it really added fuel to the fire...if she was in front of me, I woulda knocked her ass out.
I ended up speaking with Rebecca by phone who was very apologetic about the whole thing & sent me a Benaroya Vinyl set in an attempt to at least show she cared about the screw up. (It didn't make up for missing the band of course, but mistakes happen & I just happened to be the lucky one to get fucked.)
Again, that was the only time they screwed up since I've been buying tix through them, I didn't mean to get anyone worried.
Also, do you think a single ticket (I'll probably end up going by myself anyways) on TM would give me a better spot than a pair through the 10C? My number is 390 something, so I have no idea. I've never bought tickets through the 10C, much less been to a PJ show at all...

For me, Ticketmaster is only going to be an option if I get shut out of Mansfield presale tickets or for purchasing tickets for the additional Mansfield show(s) since there will most likely not be any presale tickets for these shows.

Not stressful at all. It's easy - get 10c seats. I'll bet you my left nut you'll STILL get better seats than TM even if you get your same old seats. But throwing in a chance to get rows 1-2 and 9-10 make it a no-brainer.

As to the question about buying single tickets, hell yeah you can get decent through TicketBastard... when I go solo (of course non-PJ shows, because I utilize my 10c tickets for those) I have always gotten a great seat.

It's not 100% that 10c tix are better...example. Camden 06 night 2 was purchased through the bastage and I had 2nd row Mike's side, and they were purchased months after the original on sale date as I was planning on only doing one night, but friends of mine were going to both and talked me into going, just buy chance checking on tm every so often they popped up. So it is possible, just sayin.
Also MSG II 03 I bought tix through tm and had just as good of seats as my buddies who got 10c tix, just one section to the left in the back of the arena.
That being said, I think I'm going with 10c for MSG(291xxx),taking my chances. May do the bastard for D.C. though. However with the lottery thing and D.C. usually not a heavy show, maybe I'd get decent seats with 10c.
I used TM for the MSG 03 shows as there were 3 of us travelling from the UK and we wanted to be together. I coulda had 2 sweet TC tix as I'm 32,### but as I said we wanted to be together. Ended up behind the stage, which I guess is fairly crappy but we still had a blast and I'd prob rather be there and closer to the stage than right at the back of the arena. I'd say with the lottery you'd be mad to go with TM over TC. As someone said do both, get some friends to go and keep the best seats for you.

People need to remember that since 2003 most venues/ticketmaster/promoters now limit the amount of fan club tickets (normally to 10% of the venue). So there won't be 8,000 10c members at the MSG shows.
So basically, the reality is MANY of you will be trying to ticketmaster.
