    I like alot of bands. Two new are She Wants Revenge and John Vanderslice.

    this is a wierd thread. I'm not sure what "new" means. New compared to what?

    Ill throw out Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. Their self-titled disc is very very good.

    How are we suppossed to know what is new to you or not if you won't simply post a handful of your favorite bands?

    I hear Pearl Jam is pretty good, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains and The Smashing Pumpkins too.

    Basically, you had me at John Vanderslice.

    I urge you to check out The Mountain Goats, as they may be new to you as well. JV produced their last two albums, The Sunset Tree and We Shall All Be Healed. You won't be disappointed.

    Pearls & Brass - kind of like a combination of Black Sabbath, ZZ Top, and Queens of the Stone Age. Heavy and kind of bluesy.
