Yes, I know. Wish this forum had a joke setting.

Video from the Telegraph that has some good footage of some performances. I really want to hear Elton's version now. And Mumford and Suns should just stay away from "I'm on Fire."

    was it that bad?

Its a tough nut to crack when you're covering Bruce,
and the man it sitting right there in the audience with his entire family gawking at you

    Tonight it's GRAMMY night.
Throughout his career Bruce Springsteen has already won 20 GRAMMYs.
    This year he's nominated for:
    Best Rock Performance,

    Best Rock Song and

    Best Rock Album!

I'm guessing you are just not a fan of Mumford & Sons, Newch91. Their version was outstanding. I get that Mumford is not for everyone, and I also see you are a HUGE Boss fan (as I am), but I'm not sure you heard "I'm on Fire". I did. It's almost as fantastic as their version of "Atlantic City".
"staying away": Elton John needs to stay away from "Streets of Philadelphia". He massacred it.
Please - listen to "I'm on Fire" via youtube or telegraph UK and tell me in all honesty they should "stay away".
It was beautiful...and it was true.
Yes, I'm a big Mumford & Sons fan, but I'm also objective, if they massacred it, I'd admit it.
    Peace.

I'd like to hear them get full into it with the banjo and accordian .
That broef moment seemed to be very likable, so far.

    Don't like them at all.

That's where I disagree with you on Elton. From the clip I heard, I really want to hear the rest of his version of "Streets of Philadelphia."

    after Music Cares tribute

“John Legend made me sound like Gershwin,” Springsteen noted. “Neil Young made me sound like the Sex Pistols. Tonight made me proud to be a musician.”

It's normal to have Bruce post-show depression, right?

I've gone through the PJ depression also. I need a show from either or both of them this year, along with U2.

 We definitely will be. DVDs come in handy. Hopefully we get the old Bruce with a new album every two years, that way we get more shows.

Cant believe Bruce went 0-for-3 last night.
I guess 20 Grammys is the cap with the Music Board or whatever it is.

Being said, Bruce was the " old man " of the nominations in that group.
I sense theres a shift in music and i am fearful for our younger people.

U2 and Stevie Wonder both have 21. I was hoping Bruce would tie or surpass them last night.

Don't worry. I'm here to work on the younger people. I'm still mad "Wrecking Ball" wasn't nominated for Album of the Year.
