He is right...not all music had to be about depressing shit to be worthy to listen to...so what "fun" bands do you like?

I like...

Blink 182
311
Sublime
Beach Boys
Barenaked Ladies
Beck
Red Hot Chili Peppers
The Beastie Boys
Is it so wrong to think that love can keep us safe?

I hope the irony isn't lost that such a negative, cynical, contrary bastard would have a thread based on positive music devoted to him

This is why I like Stadium Arcadium so much. Because it is cheerful easy lisening stuff with lots of positive sentiment to the lyrics, lots of nice melodic guitar sounds, enough funk to be intersting, good driving music.

    Also Green Day

Have been noticing lately the Ed often focusses on negative stuff, and have been listening to PJ less as a consequence. Should have stuck to listenign to the music and ignoring the lyrics.
    Music is not a competetion.

    Cool.

I think I heard a few songs by them when I was in the States, I forgot the name of the band. But I know I had seen it quite a few times and I think Sublime might be it...

    so thanks!
