This thread sure is quiet when they're in between tours.

what do you expect when the band snubs their longterm US fanbase from access to their live series i-tunes??

Well, looks like the hip are coming back to the rock(NFLD). However, I have never seen the hip live yet. My question is can anyone tell me what is special about the "gold circle" tickets they'll be selling? Is it worth the extra 20$ or should I go general admission?

If you register at thehip.com, you can get access to Friday's pre-sale for the East Coast dates. I assume the "gold circle" tix will be available through the Hip's pre-sale. Just go here for all the info:

    Have fun at the show!

Those melodies come back to me
    in times beyond our heartbeat

I guess I'm too slow, yes I'm too, yes I'm too slow
but you said anytime of the day was fine
you said anytime of the night was also fine
our heartbeat, our heartbeat our hearbeat

    long conversation idle chit-chat
maybe dive in or maybe hang back

this was the first song that came on my MP3 player this morning....
after such a busy and stressful work-week last week, it was exactly what i needed to hear... :)

is it possible for a song to be soothing and uplifting at the same time? :o:D

My all time favorite Hip song. Music doesn't get much better than that.

I fucking love the Hip, but I was pretty disappointed when I saw them earlier this year. Everyone talks about how they are one of the greatest live acts, but I don't see it.
