Love the Emek whale shark! I wanted to get that print as well, but couldn't justify the cost. Looks amazing framed!

Hey Cory you can still pick them up thru the Emek site $100 & shipping. I got one a couple of months the ago. Such a beautiful poster...and it's hard to believe but it's even more beautiful when you see it for real!!!!!

Could you send me a link? I looked all over his site and couldn't find it. Still probably won't buy it as I just can't justify $100+ for a poster, but I like to keep the option open.

Just scored my holy grail - the Charlotte '96. Starting to think about framing it and have no clue where to head with it style-wise. Anybody have any ideas for what might look good/complement this poster? The colors are so bold and bright that I can't even figure out a color to use for the mat for fear of detracting from the poster itself. Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

I'd go with multiple black mats with colored cores. See Dankind's post above for his 2013 Worcester poster. That way you could work with your framer & pull out the colors from the poster that you want to. And I agree...I think color mats would be to much with this poster. And that is one of the best of EMEK's work...

This is what I have done with almost all of my prints. They all are black with color core. Love the way it looks. Sometimes we use 2 mats, sometimes add another solid color mat, but always with colored cores.

The way I do mine is with a black top mat and a color bottom mat. For the bottom mat I pick out an accent color as close as possible to one of the colors in the print. Play around with various colors, too. I usually go in with an idea of what I want, but I have my framer show me mats of every color in the print and decide from there. Often times you'll find that a color other than your original idea works better.
Black mats with color cores as others suggested would work very well, too.

Nice selection of posters there. I have that Hartford 10 print on my wishlist. I love the MSG 03 one too.

Thanks guys. It has taken me all year due to cost, but its coming along. Getting the first of my PJ20s back in a week or two, then might hit the Phlly Tom Tomorrow set.
