I was at this show - this is the first time I've ever seen that poster. Was it sold at the show or is it like an artists' variant type thing? It looks awesome.

This poster is from a mural that was painted by Munk One and Dabs & Myla outside Wrigley during the weekend of the show!!
It was only offered thru the artists' websites shortly after the event.

Had an idea to do my AP like this for awhile with the frame to match the house/water tower in the print. Finally decided on a matting I could be satisfied with and got it back today. I intentionally painted it with a thin coat to let some of the wood show through in the same way the artist did with his coloring so it would be similar. Really like the modeling of black in the red of the mat because it goes well with the rose also.

Had my Moline and Milwaukee posters framed at Michaels. Opened them on Christmas (thanks mom and dad!). Pretty much the best gift ever.

Not wanting to hijack the thread but wanted to ask the "experts." =)
I have a good amount of show prints and they were all stored in tubes. Over the holidays I was gifted a flat file storage unit. Fits a little over the 2X3 foot prints (like Seattle '13). 5 drawers. Also, was given a portfolio case with sleeves to put prints in. Same size as flat file. Sleeves all acid free and whatever and also got a roll of special paper to put in between prints. I am slowly (taking forever) trying to flatten the prints. Starting by letting them release on their own for a while and then slowly move to some "weights" on the corners. I think this is going to take weeks with the amount of prints. My rookie questions are:

    - in the flat file storage, how many prints are safe to put in one drawer? The drawers are deep and could hold a good amount. Should I try to limit for weight or pressure on underneath prints. Again, each one separated by the special paper.
    - with the prints that we get from 10C, is the paper they are rolled in acid free and can be used to separate prints.

My goal is to start framing and I am getting some great ideas on this thread. Some are crazy. My first print to frame is the Moline. In honor of HesCalledDyer. =)

I don't think the weight of a stack would be an issue.

You would hope that for $7.50 and "one poster per tube" the 10C would be using decent Kraft paper. You would hope....

I'm no "expert" but I have framed maybe 30 posters with American Frame supplies.

So I don't think I added any pics of my office remodel. It used to be my wife's craft room, but it just turned into a big mess :) so I kicked her out, repainted, put in new floors, made a new desk, and got rid of old counter top. I also added as many of my framed PJ posters as would fit and moved my record player setup down there. Its a great place to get some work done!! Unfortunately there is not enough wall space to hold all my prints, so I will need to expand into the game room next door. Been to all those shows except Pitt.

The speakers are AV123 Rocket RS 760s. They were a pretty popular internet direct speaker company about 10 years ago until the owner was arrested and sent to jail for being a crook. To bad, they made some great gear.
