Does anyone know if Framefetish is still business? I see their website has been taken over by what looks like a company who buys up domain names. I really wanted to use them to frame something. Newport Dave had a Pearl Jam LA print framed by them and that is how I heard of them. Anyone with any information please pass it on.
SWEET!!!! Is that aRED FILET just inside the outer frame??
Really like this look...NICE ONE!!
:ugeek:
Pretty much. The framer talked me out of a smaller orange mat and into the grey and I decided to pull the red back in with the stacked frame. I really love how it turned out.
When Photobucket updated the site to their "NEW" Home & Library format,
I started having BIG trouble finding my pictures!
I have over 1000 pictures stored on Photobucket and
they used to be organized by the date you uploaded them to the site.
With all of the UPDATES...this was no longer the case,
and it was taking me FOREVER to locate the pictures that I was looking for.
So...in an effort to get organized, I MOVED all of my photo files into new folders.
This screwed up the links to all of the pictures that I had posted, mainly in this thread.
Just wanted to pass this along so that others don't make the same mistake that I made!!

Nice use of wall space!...... that must be a huge room.
The background color works really well to set everything off.
The creative spacing must have drove you nuts. I love it!

Thank you
It is a long wall and the vaulted ceiling does make that wall perfect for the posters! My problem is adding new one's...I keep trying to reconfigure in my head and the only way would be to squeeze them closer together or...get a new wall! I live in a condo and that is pretty much my only good wall space for hanging pics...Thank you for compliment!

You could always mount some on the ceiling
"Populated with every reject and cutthroat from Bombay to Calcutta. It's worse than Detroit."
You could always mount some on the ceiling
its funny you say that. last night i was laying in bed and looking at the ceiling and right above where your head rests, there is an wierd nook/wall that comes out and up. i was actually trying to figure out how to mount a print up there. i would be too paranoid that it would fuck me up in the middle of the night if it fell, but the thought was there.
I got a reprint of the poster from my first show (it's also my avatar) about 14 years after the concert. I had regretted not buying an original pretty much all these years, so I was psyched to find any print that was a decent size. My fiancé found a coupon for the local frame shop and I just dropped it off at to be mounted. I'm pretty sure it's a little smaller than the original, and the quality isn't nearly as good as any original prints, but I'm framing it regardless as it holds a ton of sentimental value.
Now, 14-1/2 years after the show, I will finally have it up on my wall.
(Note: I had a choice to buy the poster or beers, I think I had $30 total being a college student, I opted for beers. Although I've regretted the decision ever since, I am very skeptical that the poster would have survived the concert, or the two years of off campus residences that followed)

Thats funny it would be one hell of a wake up call!

Well done. Resembles my office.
I so need to get that PJ20 poster someday, I just can't justify the price that it goes for these days.
