Oh get over yourself, how many times have they played the Seattle area compared to other parts of the country and the world ? It's ridiculous, do you know how selfish you sound, you get intimate PJ and Ed shows and boo hoo you have to travel a few hours for a show. Well it's the same in a lot of places PJ tour. In the UK as an example ppl have to travel to London to see the band except in 2000 when they played 4 cities and then ppl still had to travel for hours. Be greatful for what you get, you've been spoilt over the years.

Don't be a moron. They're from Seattle. One would expect them to play Seattle more often than Boston or New York. One would expect a band from Seattle to play even less frequently in London or Syndey. Hopefully that won't be too difficult for you to follow.

I'm not gonna get into a slagging match and yes I agree in part, you would expect them to play more shows in their hometown but this is Pearl Jam, they're hardly known for being your archetypal band. My point is that I think it's selfish someone from Seattle moaning about how they don't play enough shows. And anyway they have played more shows in Seattle or WA than New York, as you'd expect!
    My PJ shows:
    London 28/10/96, Las Vegas 11/7/98, London 29/5/00, Nurnburg 11/6/00, Prague 14/6/00, Salzburg 18/6/00, Verona 20/6/00, Milan 22/6/00, Zurich 23/6/00, New York 8-9/7/03, Boston 11/7/03, Reading Festival 27/8/06, Shepards Bush 11/8/09, Berlin 15/8/09, Manchester 17/8/09, London 18/8/09, Dublin 22/6/10, Belfast 23/6/10, London (HRC) 25/6/10, Alpine Valley (PJ20) 3-4/9/11, Manchester 20-21/6/12, Leeds 8/7/14, Milton Keynes 11/7/14 To be continued....

Sorry but the gorge is a "seattle" show. It must suck that one of the most beutiful venues in the country is a whole 2 and a half hours away.

I won't bitch about secret shows.....but I can't understand why Ed is not playing Benaroya or the Showbox. Yet Vancouver gets two shows? Very odd I would think.

So you'd consider a venue in Richmond, VA a Baltimore show, then?

    No.

They havent as a band played Seattle proper or the northwest proper since 2003 I believe.

While I agree with you on Seattle proper, you said OR the northwest proper. I'm pretty sure the northwest contains Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. I'll even throw in Vancouver. The only one of those that hasn't been played since 2003 is Idaho.

Just an observation based on your comment.

I agree about the Gorge. I would bet that at least 90% of all the people who go to any and all Gorge shows, all come from the Puget Sound region. The Gorge is considered in and advertised to the Puget Sound market...

Maybe so but in 06, I didn't meet one person from the Seattle area. Go figure...

Florida, Boston, California, Wyoming, Oregon..but no Washington.
