  • He plays it in open D tuning DADF#AD (low to high)

I can't believe you posers haven't heard of Given to Wail.

On another note, does anyone know what key Even Flow is in? It looks like F (since he ends on D minor) but he he hits some non-F notes in there.

But it can be played in many other tunings and still be in key and tune. That's what's confusing us all. Given to Wail is just another interpretation. A pretty damn good one I must add though.
  • I play a version drop d and another open d. i fing the drop d 1 is correct. its hard if u just look at the tab and spend about 5minutes at it but if you sit down with a guitar and tab and a bit of dedication you can have the whole thing nailed in about 2hours. I found a great site dedicated to mike mccready and it has a good tab on it. check it out http://www.giventowail.com/new/tabs/pj/ten/even.txt

thats the tuning listed, yes. and every single time i've seen stone play it (from 92 and onward) it has not appeared to be in that tuning.

i just play it in Eminor. which is a 1/2 step up from where they play it.

mike plays a fret down from that i believe.
Come on pilgrim you know he loves you..
