I miss you already, I miss you all day
Just like any other song with fast parts, you should play them really slow and memerize it and gradually make it faster until you can play a live newer, even faster version...
Practice is good..
and fun!

Yeah, I have that tab book as well and was thinking the same thing.
also you cant really play along to the original even flow on ten, because the tuning is slightly down (?) and it sounds a bit off, so its better just to do live!
and mikes part is easier than stones.... (besides solo)

its so bizarre...
actually if you pay attention...
Mike plays the song in a STANDARD key guitar. he just plays 2 frets down.
could be a bit confusing if you're watching him and trying to match it to whats written.
the best thing to do in any situation is to look at sheet music and listen to the song yourself... don't go strait from the paper.
my sheet musics have notes and corrections scribbled all over the place

It says Standard tuning for Stone, when it clearly isn't.
Another thing that bothers me is how there is an album version and a radio version and they're very different. Two different solos, and the radio version is faster and sounds pitched higher.
they must have played it both standard and flat

our guitarist just watched the LATG video, there is a part where u can easily c what stone is playing...tho its quite different from most tabs, sound fine tho!

YieldInHiding: "RED DOT is an intermission...not "filler." I hate that word. Filler is what's in a Twinkie."
but every single time i've seen him play it, without exception, its been very obviously in standard.

He plays it in open D tuning DADF#AD (low to high)

I can't believe you posers haven't heard of Given to Wail.
On another note, does anyone know what key Even Flow is in? It looks like F (since he ends on D minor) but he he hits some non-F notes in there.
But it can be played in many other tunings and still be in key and tune. That's what's confusing us all. Given to Wail is just another interpretation. A pretty damn good one I must add though.
i just play it in Eminor. which is a 1/2 step up from where they play it.
mike plays a fret down from that i believe.
