Yep, Einziger's been using that on the current tour since his hand surgery because it's easier to play. He's always said that he doesn't find guitars particularly interesting, he's more into pedals, amps and keyboards. I kinda share that view, I've never been very particular about guitars; I like Strat-style guitars, mostly super-Strats.
And as for McCready, I've never seen him use an Ibanez, or any brand other than Fender and Gibson.
