I couldn't agree more! And besides, he can buy whatever he wants 'further on down the road'.

    cheers guys :):)

i've also been looking at one of those supro thingies :)

i guess i'm looking for something a bit different and the Eastwood guitars are getting phenomenal reviews on Harmony Central, plus (as Lucylespian was asking earlier) they have a supplier in Glasgow so i might make the trip up there and have a strum around with one!!!

I cant get a new guitar until after PJ gig in london,/holidays in July but after that i'll see how finances are doing :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Man,,,, Dunkman,,,, if you like those,,,, we're gonna have to have a beer and toast to our weirdness! I love all those weird guitars.
I'm not so big on that particular one, but there are so many different ones out there. Eastwoods are iffy at best. They make reissues of a lot of those, and some are great, some are pretty crappy. I wouldn't buy one without playing it first.
Check on Ebay for Guyatone, Teisco, Airline, Supro's, Valco.
    All weird and unique.

I have a friend in Philadelphia who makes great offbeat guitars, too. Good quality at a decent cost.
He finds all these oddball amps and guitars,,,, I love going to his shop and playing,,,, but I'm always tempted in there.

Check out the vintage section there, especially the electric guitars and amps.

There is always the possibility that maybe someone could get your airline here and take it to England someday, if he could find one that's good. ;)
    haha,,,, You going to London?
I am, too! :D I'm not going all the way over just to see pj , ,,,, but also to see some people from here, and some other friends there. I might come up to Edinburgh, too. I'll finally meet VV and Bambi!

All I mean by this is the love/hate relationship you have with Fender changes.

Love/Hate are brilliant. But no-ones ever heard of them.

ON the subject, I was logged on to whitestripes.net forum today and it wasn't long before I saw some positive raves about teh Eastwood Airlines.
There was also some stuff about JAck saying his were hard to play, but not why .

Funny enough, I'm going to get the chance to see The White Stripes this summer at our bluesfest. I need to pick up their DVD.
