"I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version." - EV

That was the first song I could play also. I'm proud to say that, and I don't know why your embarrased. That song, and Nirvana was one of the reasons I picked up guitar. When I realized I could rock out just like Kurt with three easy power chords it was like a religious awakening. I will thank Cobain forever for that, even though I know play a lot more difficult music on guitar.
And don't knock simple songs. Usually the simplist songs are the best, or become classics. Smells Like Teen Spirit was one of those. It was a riff heard 'round the world.

It's just hard to hear because he's using so much distortion, but if you listen closely you can pick it up.
