  • I have had several PMs on this one, so my sell price....I dont know.

I have been offered 6500...but I know it is worth double that.

I probably wont part with it for under 10

lets see some pics. i want to investigate this strat, just see how authentic it is. because if it is in mint all original condition your looking at about 20 grand. Then every peice that isnt original, pending on the part, knock abotu 2500 off that price. i'd like to see some under pickgaurd photos, and some detailed neck and bodies.

Why the hell would you pay 10 grand for a guitar... I don't get it. But that's just me.

If I had that money I'd go on a world tour or something...

I'll work on getting some pics on-line. Also, it is appraised at 23000. Now, I am not into the gear as much as most of you, but I know this is a gem. For me it just doesn't feel right, and it is a shame to leave this guitar on a rack. While it is appraised at 23000, I know that I would never get that for it.

you bought it for 250, why dont you sell it for like 2500 to someone who will apreciate it, but may not have the honda civic or landscaping to give up to afford it. I know if i had a real expensive guitar i didnt like (which i have done) i have sold it for a good price to someone who truly enjoyed it. another i just smashed on stage too. 68 hagstrom.

I have given away several guitars. My buddy is bigtime into Fender, so I gave him my 65. I paid 9500 for that one, and I gave it to him because he could tear the shite outa it. I would give this away to they right person....I really don't care about the money. And I DO appreciate it, which is why it will be going to either somebody who shows their love for it monetaerially, or to somebody who I really feel desrves it. ALSO, as I stated ealier, this is a nice piece...I totally appreciate it beauty. That is why I am thinking of selling it...it doesn't feel right for me, but I know tha tfor others this would be the perfect guitar.

HAHAHA! Sign me up! Seriously, try and find a teenage gearhead thats really committed. Make him promise never to sell it. I think that would be a great thing to do. I know I would really love that.

who did the appraisal? just curious, as an extreme fender buff this stuff really gets me going, i'd still like to see some pictures, just to check the originality and what not, its not a big deal, but alot of little details get overlooked by so called "apraisers" i'd love to take a look and see.

    oh, the fender wasn't appraised...

But my mates new it was worth what I paid for it. I paid top end price, but it was still worth it. I probably could got it for 8000, but I saw it, picked it up, and played, and I was in heaven....And yes, they guy that I do my appraisals through knows his shite. Not only does he buy, sell, restore, and own a crap load, he makes them to. He has been in the buisness for 35 years.

It's about 8.5 out of 10. I think I may raise the price to around $310 only because it needs a setup pretty bad. It only has a few scratches on the top of the body and the bottom of the body, nothing on the front of back or on the neck. I can't find my digital camera, I think I may have left it in the car...pics up later tonite.
