    Yeah, I saw all of these. I was looking at the 2 X 12 with the vintage 30 and the greenback in it already....looks pretty good. It is an open back though, which sucks....and I have no Idea who the cab is actually made by. I still like the idea of a vertical slanted cab though.

    You can just turn that cab up on end, and voila! It's vertical! A friend of mine has a 2x12" cab that he uses vertically... we removed the feet from the bottom and put them on the side. Works really well.

    That cab reminds me of the cabs Johnson Amps makes. It looks like it's fairly well constructed. I'd be interested if it was ply or pressboard, and what thickness the wood is.

    As far as the open-back design... you could just cut a new back panel for it and cover it with tolex. It would actually be really easy, if you knew what you were doing. But if you could get the cab for around $300-350, and ship it ($100-130) and get a new back made ($30-60), you'd be set.

    MIG....this guy said that it would be around $90 to ship to Canada...I asked him how much it would be to ship it to you. You're in Montana aren't you? I think this cab is a pretty good deal. I may want to swap out the g12h speaker with a greenback though. What do you guys think?

    depends on how high it goes. right now it's f-ing stellar.

    the H30 is a nice speaker but yeah you'll probably swap it for a GB.

    I'm not sure if it will save much money shipping it to me... but I also don't think it'll be $90 to ship that across the border. I did a little detective work, and got an estimate of $60 from UPS.

    You're in Edmonton, right?

    The problem is getting it from me to you. If it was shipped to me and then I shipped it to you, it would probably be the same as if he shipped it straight to you. He's got a flat rate of $50 to ship in the states (which is fucking ridiculous, shouldn't cost more than $25-30 to ship from him to me).

    If we both drove to the border, we'd be looking at a lot more for gas money than it's worth.
