  • 8 options? Hmmm.... in no particular order...

    3. Page
    4. Clapton
    5. Van Halen
    6. Satriani
    7. Gilmour

That's probably not the best list... although I think I should have 6 of the 8...

EDIT: Dave G for Iommi, SRV for Hammett.
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

My Top 8 in no order, just my favorites & biggest influences

David Gilmour-Pefect Tone & Perfect Notes Always
Jimi Hendrix-The original monster & still a mystery
Gary Moore-The best lead player ever
Lindsey Buckingham-A unique master of Pop/Rock playing
Eddie Van Halen-The second most important guitarist ever
Jimmy Page-The best minor chord player ever
Thurston Moore-Can make beauty out of the most bizzare tunings
Randy Rhodes-No one attacked a lead like him, so much fury.

  • The price you pay for posting first...

I went with Rock, straight up.

And yes, SRV should replace Hammet on my list.

    Ok, rock and blues:

    Jimi Hendrix
    Joe Satriani
    Alex Lifeson
    Robert Fripp
    Eric Johnson
Kirk Hammett (I'm sorry, but he does shred something fierce)
    SRV
    Eddie Van Halen
    David Gilmour
    Jimmy Page

This is just all out techincal playing, with a little bit of influential-ness thrown in for good taste.

That's why I tried to find just a single photo... figured it would load easier.

There were a lot of web cams and IPIX modules, would've taken a day to load...

Glad they like my home! Glacier is beautiful on any given day...
