They are everything you might dream of. I can play anything from heavy rock to the Edge. Was gettng some nice tones for Hallelujah a few night this week.

    yeah exactly, that's badass.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

Really. That's awesome. If you need space for it to be stored when it's finished, let me know ;).
  • Haha, I'm doing that very thing with a Tele body this week! P-90 and Tele bridge pickup

Regarding the Presonus tube preamp input! Very nice, but my "I want" with that would more be, "someone to work it for me" ;)

I want an old 8 track tape recorder with just a couple of buttons on it! Record, rewind, play, stop. :D

Ha, I guess that would bring new meaning to Punch in Punch out. :D

Imagine trying to describe the abilities of your Fire Box Tube if you had a lovely red headed girlfriend in the room... That wouldn't be awkward at all.

Actually, all I want is someone to explain it to ME! ANYBODY! :D
I'm not bonding with digital recording. I don't know what it is, but my brain isn't taking in latency and all the hookups and computer screen work. I like that smell of burning tubes and to see tape going by!

I would have a REALLY hard time explaining a lovely redheaded girlfriend in the room to my present rasta dreadlock-headed girlfriend!

I have enough guitars, but if I DO want anything, it'd be a saxophone. I can squawk out a few notes, but I would love to learn to play well.
I need to keep the neighbors on their toes here!

I'll keep it in mind girly :)
I might need a place, I'm seriously running out of room.

I was just commissioned to build another guitar yesterday (so mine's on hold).
I don't know when I'll get the startup money, but when I'm finished I'll be sure
to post it's PIC's too. The body'll be modeled after a Strat (ash body, figured
maple top), but rear routed so the pickups are set into the body (so you can
see the top, and for optimum tone since pickguards don't resonate very well).
I'm planning to build the neck out of maple with an ebony fretboard and a 10°
angled headstock with 3+3 tuner design. Traditional 6-screw-mount vintage
Strat trem, and S/S/H (I think I'll end up going with Alnico 5 magnet pickups
for more of a vintage vibe). They said they wanted more of a Strat shaped
body, and told me what stains they liked, but other than that they're giving
me full discretion on all the other designs and options - cool.

  • I want new strings.........Lifetime supply...

It just pisses me off because it seems every time you're really getting into playing, a string breaks. And it's usually after the music store closes....

    Or is that just me?

  • I also want new neighbors who don't threaten to call the police at 8PM...
