I liked it a lot! So cool to see Eddie working with these kids in the news story 😍

Especially the kid wearing the Pearl Jam shirt! They seemed so nervous. My hands would be shaking so bad I wouldn't even be able to get a guitar lesson from Eddie!

    What a great, uplifting song!
ok when I heard the studio version i thought it was just ok but damn gotta give those kids credit, they killed it live.  most are 13 and 14 years old playing in front of an audience of ex-Presidents and rock stars?  crazy.  when i was 13 or 14.... Damn good job by all.  that had to be a hell of a lot of work on Ed's part but you could tell from the video he had a passion for it.  Well done Ed!
Exactly! It was amazing for 12-14 year olds! And so great to see Eddie having fun working with them.
I'm not a rap fan, but the skill to write and perform rap is amazing 🤩. And I loved the lyrics of the rap.

What’s not to like about kids having dreams of becoming stars? Just never know who gets inspired by such events, take the song for what it is I like that kids are involved

It was a great opportunity for those kids to showcase the program. Having an artist like Eddie as a part of it got them a much higher profile. Seems like a win to me.

That had to be a very rewarding experience for Ed and those kids. Using it as a way to give back to the community is way cooler than just going out there and doing some Petty cover. Ed is truly a 1/1.

I'll cut some slack since it was a bunch of kids singing.  I did not know that.  I thought they were professionals.

Awesome to see kids get an opportunity like this! Getting involved in music for young people is such a great thing. Reminds me of my son’s band and concert experiences in high school plus his local music school.

Looked like the Obamas loved it!

Yes! I thought I wrote this yesterday, but maybe I forgot to hit "post"  :# -- my son worked at an after-school music program (El Sistema) for a few years, and seeing the impact that the program had on the kids was amazing! These are special programs, and I thought the performance and the work Ed did with the kids leading up to yesterday was awesome! The message of community involvement and mentorship is/was so much more meaningful than, say, another performance of RITFW.

And just imagine the experience for those kids, up there playing for the Obamas and all of the dignitaries, et al. I can assure you, from what I've seen, those kids take their performances very seriously.

Am I the only one who thinks that those opening chords are an instant reminder of Better Man?

    Here's my idea/wish/dream:

4444 records of the song. As for the color?

Tan or possibly 3-4 different variants (tan because the tan suit...gotta embrace it as several people at the ceremony did, black because black vinyl, blue because blue is the color of the Dems and maybe a fourth choice of whatever President Obama would want.)

The funds, of course, would go to Guitars over Guns.
