what exactly is the harm with poster board?

So when I got mine done professionally 20 years ago ( cant believe its been that long), they glued the poster to a hard cardboard surface before framing it.  At the time I didn't care, but then I realized it kind of ruined the poster itself.  You can't roll it, or store it outside the frame. It's just got this hard back to it.

I have an art portfolio binder that's just for posters and I slide mine in there.

I used a cardboard presentation board with paper on both sides of the poster and some weight on the top. I find if its too rolled then its tough to get it into the 24x18 portfolio case.

Yep...I had no idea in 1997 that it was a negative to get it mounted on poster board...hell the quy in the framing shop didn't even present me with another option...still looks great in the frame, but I know--damnit, I know--and it bugs me just a little when I look at it...

2 different members are NOT CHECKING MESSAGES about posters they want to sell. What's the point of saying you want to sell and not following through....

Often times, I believe people let offers roll in and start sorting from the highest offer. If they sell, they often decide to never reply.

I have reverse rolled mine and stored in the tube for a day or two that way. Then lay it on a flat surface with some weights around it.

I'm sure there is likely a way to steam iron on an extremely low setting but I'd leave that to the pros if it is even a thing.

They want to sell posters they got that they don't want... but don't reply with a price. So I'm busy gonna keep my money I guess
