Kahokiss

copy&paste of some relevant details (wiki)

The mentioned band is on board here
They were opening acts for shows in large venues, including RHCP and Green Day. The band appeared at the annual Lollapalooza music festival in Chigago and they opened arena shows in Japan for Foo Fighters and Oasis in 2025.

Kahokiss will play her final show in Japan on April 17.
Eddie is in Kyoto for his solo show on April 17…

band origin: Kyoto

There is only one tiny piece of the whole puzzle left:

In summer 2025, the band announced that Kahokiss went on maternity leave.

Anyway, that’s a lot better than a missing puzzle piece.

I feel like I read this post multiple times.  The best I’m getting out of it is that someone who plays drums is leaving their band.  Am I missing anything else?  Do I need to drop some acid to get the whole point?

Probably wouldn't hurt. Can you spare a square?

    Nothing since then. I suck.

50/50 I can’t tend more to any direction at this point.
She will be excluded within one second somehow in the future or …

Just searched with new drummer + Pearl Jam for a quick view on old stuff to the subject and found

    😄 misleading!?

    still 50/50 here and elsewhere

I’m not into social media but maybe I should add some tags to this topic, just to see what happens 😆

It looks like the exclusion of Kahokiss was too early /only based on AI tech bit.

Anyway, AI can’t exclude Kahokiss at this point 100%
If, then there must be a detail / source for it.

Back to 50/50 until I see something better!

    Just to compare something;
If there’s a drummer who posted a 60-birthday message to Eddie via social media in Dezember 2025,
that’s basically done in front of the eyes of the (music)world.
Reason enough for rumour (+ the own name published). Anyway, he could be / must be the choosen one.

IF… 😋 it’s very different. No birthday greetings via social media from Japan. Silence as long as possible seems the best what’s to achieve for Kahokiss.

Two obvious things related to the topic:
    1. The drummer must be capable to drum on the necessary level.
    2. There is no need for Pearl Jam to announce the new drummer. The job can be done with the announcement of any full band live show/s + the appearance of the drummer somewhere on stage someday in the future.
