    The USA is a threat to the world. How do the functioning part of the world stop its bullying influence and bullying power, but still keep some of the films, Tarantinos cinema and maybe Pearl Jam?

    BREAKING: French President Emanuel Macron throws down the gauntlet to Trump and announces that his nation's military will join joint exercises in Greenland alongside Denmark and other allies.

    All of Europe is rising up against MAGA now...

    "At the request of Denmark, I have decided that France will participate in the joint exercises organized by Denmark in Greenland, Operation Arctic Endurance. The first French military elements are already on their way. Others will follow," Macron wrote on X.

    "We do not underestimate statements on Greenland," Macron stated elsewhere. "If the sovereignty of a European country and ally were to be affected, the knock-on effects would be unprecedented. France is monitoring the situation very closely and will act in full solidarity with Denmark and its sovereignty."

    Earlier today, Germany also announced that they will be sending troops to Greenland as part of a reconnaissance mission with other European nations as Trump escalates his saber-rattling rhetoric towards the Arctic island. The joint European mission was requested especially by Denmark, of which Greenland is an autonomous territory.

    "The aim is to explore the framework conditions for possible military contributions to support Denmark in ensuring security in the region," stated the German Defense Ministry.

    “Security in the Arctic is of crucial importance to the Kingdom and our Arctic allies, and it is therefore important that we, in close cooperation with allies, further strengthen our ability to operate in the region,” stated Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.

    “The Danish Defense Forces, together with several Arctic and European allies, will explore in the coming weeks how an increased presence and exercise activity in the Arctic can be implemented," he added.

    Denmark will also be deploying additional aircraft, naval assets, and ground troops in and around Greenland as part of the increased training and exercises.

    It cannot be overstated what a horrifying state of affairs America now finds itself in. Our closest allies are now preparing to repel a possible invasion of a NATO member all because Trump fancies himself a conqueror. His imperialist dreams are those of a child with no real understanding of the world. The U.S. doesn't need to seize Greenland because there is already no limit to the amount of military assets we are permitted to station there. This is about grandstanding. Trump is desperate to carve out a legacy as his domestic policies implode.

    As for the MAGA supporters who are mindlessly braying in support of Trump's aggression, bragging that the United States would win if it came to war with Europe, they are completely missing the point. With an increasingly expansionist Russia and an ascendent China, America needs its European allies now more than ever. Regardless of how this Greenland debacle resolves, Trump has permanently damaged our most crucial alliances.

    Talk about crazy- Trump still has an approval rate of 40%.  That is a low approval rate, of course, but it is still higher that the low approval rates that time Harry S. Truman, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, and George W. Bush all had at one time. How is that freakin' possible? 

    Yep, we gave it all away.  Maybe we really didn't want to be so great after all.  Or maybe people really are just that damn stupid.

    I saw Bessent was asked about trump's note to Denmark....he obviously hadn't seen it yet or was completely acting like he hadn't because he basically denied that trump would be doing this because of not getting the NPP
